We have blue-green algae currently present on Bodymoor Heath Water foreshore. These algae are naturally forming, and under certain conditions produce natural chemicals which may lead to a risk of rashes on contact with human skin, or harm to animals on drinking quantities of the water. Avoid contact and ensure dogs are on leads near water. If any contact occurs wash affected area as soon as possible.

£4.50 to park and fun for the whole day

User

We regularly visit the park.. it's a great place to spend time with the family. Being able to spend the entire day there and it only cost £4.50 for all the family is incredible value for money. There is lots to do for us and our kids, we'll continue to go there for years to come.

User

Visited today with my husband and my 1 year old son. We had such a wonderful day: enjoyed a picnic; a walk round the lakes; explored both of the play areas; and finished off with an ice cream. Was so worth the £4.50 parking... so much so we are looking into an annual pass. What a wonderful place to visit with plenty to do and lots to see. Will definitely be coming back again (and again...)

User

User

User

I love it there you can just relax and enjoy yourself get away from city life for the day and it's only £ 4.50 all day what is brilliant and if you go after 4 pm it's only £3.00 and it's open till 8 pm a very cheap day out if you take a picnic Plenty todo for the whole family we go there neally every weekend highly recommended 👍👍👍

User

I had my first proper visit on 25th July, after a brief recce the day before to check the availability of mobility scooters. £4.50 to park, and £5 a day for a Tramper scooter, which allowed me to go almost everywhere in the park.

The staff were friendly and efficient. All in all, a really good outing. I will return.

User

First time visit today. Took our puppy with us. Weather was rotten but the walk was lovely. Was handy being able to pay inside by card. Updating the machines to card use would be wise too.

User

Been today and had a fabulous time! Hired bike, lovely walk around the lake, a trip on the mini steam railway (£2 return) adventure playground and an ice cream!

User

Absolutely loved our day here today £4.50 to park all day worth every penny

We took our own food but still bought a couple of drinks on this extremely hot day

Plenty of things to see and do

Only downside for me was seeing the poor donkeys being dragged around in this heat with only a little bit of shade when they weren't being ridden

User

£4.50 per car entry is a good deal! Advice to all is take your own food and drink as it's expensive there! Swan boats are a must we had a lot of laughs! Defiantly will be back! Was a great day! X X

User

Such a beautiful place for young and old. Loads to do but we only managed to play in the play areas, went on the train ride, paddled in the swan boat, more playing at the adventure play area and ice cream. Think they should rethink the parking. They should put parking machines in the car parks so that you don't need to pay at the entry barriers where at busy times, the queues are really long. Would recommend the park

User

Lovely place to go lots to do for the children but would be better if the parking was charged per the hour as its expensive if your not there to spend the whole day

User

I love Kingsbury water park on a nice summers day but I've have a bug near that I had paid £4.50 to park but had to leave at just after 4 to take my daughter home as she had work at 5

I left the 2 lads I took with my friend so they could burn off some energy and said I'd be back

On leaving there were no car park attendants as they were there when we arrived to enquire if I would have to pay another parking fee to get back in

I left and came back 40 mins later to have to pay another 3 pound to park the car again

Not impressed Kingsbury not at all impressed

User

They charged £2.50 for Cornetto ice cream which in my opinion is complete rip off.

User

Nice play area for the kids. Bike hire seems extortionate to me, why do businesses assume everyone must be loaded? Coffee from the cafe by the loo's is the worst I've ever tasted. £4.50 to park all day isn't terribly bad but still too much I think. The model railway is closed to the public on Saturdays but yet full of blokes wearing captain hats playing on the trains. So all the kids who want to have a ride on the trains can only watch the "men" play. I think it's ridiculous, surely it's time for these man babies to grow up? Overall experience OK.

User

Lovely park, we hired bikes whuch made it fun for the kids. But not impressed with the £4.50 parking charge as i was not there for long. Would be much better if you could pay by the hour!!

User

We visit the water park weekly due to living close by and never have a bad word to say about it but yesterday a couple of the women in the gift shop were very rude and had no idea of customer service!

It is supposed to be a place to visit with your family but this experience has definitely made me think very different about who they want visiting their park!

User

The park is always lovely but today I used the gift shop for the first time today and was mortified how me and my autistic son were treated. Never would I speak to anyone the way the ladies in the shop did I’m so angry il not use the shop again if that’s how they treat people with disabilities
