The location is superb and the calamari is to die for. A bit pricey though. Go here every Summer.

Our favourite place to be on the weekend.

Perfect location with fantastic views. Wonderful food and great staff.

Love enjoying a glass of wine while watching the children play on the beach.

Highly recommend The Langland Brasserie👌

Idyllic location, excellent food and service despite being extremely busy. As a disabled person on crutches, access was good for me but movement inside could be difficult for a wheelchair user as tables are close together but as long as they are sat near the entrance, shouldn't be an issue. I'll certainly return. Thank you.

I love this place. Had breakfast there on Sunday morning with my husband. The staff were fab, they literally don't stop and they always have a smile to share. Hoping the gourmet evenings make a comeback in the Autumn, the food there is wonderful.

Had a lovely lunch there.

Food full of flavour and cooked beautifully, and served by very friendly staff.

User

Once seated you are given a menu to consider but, then have to get up from your table to place your order at the desk you walk past on the way in, no orders taken by waiting staff, also my coke was served with a plastic straw?? Why??

Needs customer service! Such an idyllic location and the venue is really beautifully decorated to suit the beach . The doors opening to the outside are great and the huge parasols outside are fantastic for sitting outside soaking up the view.

Used to visit very regularly a few year ago and couldn’t fault anything. The staff were friendly and approachable and the welcome was always lovely.

Over the last couple of years since ownership seems to have changed, our experience hasn’t been comparable unfortunately. We are frequent visitors of restaurants for evening meals and this had definitely been one of our very favourites. We had celebrated many a family celebration here.

Yesterday a friend and I visited for breakfast in the sun on the beach perfect venue.

The service? Not so perfect sadly.

Arrived at 11:40 am and ordered a sausage butty (£5.75) and a tea cake (£3.25) with a pot of tea for two (£4.70). Everything was ok and we enjoyed. Only issue was whilst my friend was still eating her butty, of which she still had 1/2 left, and I had 1/4 of my tea cake on my plate whilst we chatted, a waitress asked to take my plate!

Enjoying the ambience immensely (and having paid (£3 to park for 2 hours), we ordered another pot of tea for two.

A waiter brought a pot for one with one cup and saucer. When my friend says she’d ordered a pot for two, the waiter said the girl at the till had probably misunderstood, shrugged and walked away - so guessed we’d just have to get up, go to the till and order again.

When that pot came the milk went into little lumps on the top of the tea in the cup.

Tried to catch attention of a passing waitress (I’m not quiet) who had NO awareness of customers and walked straight our table past ignoring us!

Managed to catch attention from another waitress and explained the problem. She said nothing and just took it away. I asked for another but she didn’t respond. So I was left to wonder if it would be replaced. It was within a little while but there was no apology, not really even any acknowledgement.

The menu isn’t cheap but I’d be happy to pay - just don’t really expect such unapproachable, unresponsive staff from such a lovely place which does cost over average. Really didn’t expect to be served milk on the turn either.

A little way along the beach front sits Langland Surfside cafe. beach hut style, no airs or graces but lovely food, friendly approachable service and less costly - that too is on the beach with outside seating.

It’s a shame but I guess this visit to Langland brassiere was one of my last. It’s prompted us to walk on by to the alternative cafe next time we visit Langland (which is very often in the summer at breakfast time).

All it would take is a little better approach to people skills to provide a nicer service to the customers who pay the prices that pay the salaries........not a lot to ask.......

Very dissaponting lunch recently. My bagel was so stale I couldn't cut it. My partners chips were definitely re-heated and chewy. Been there lots of times previously and took my partner on his first visit to langland.

User

The location is 5/5 but the brunch menu needs to be improved. Served poor quality bread and a very tiny amount of avocado..presentation also poor. Sourdough bread, crushed avocado and other toppings would be so much tastier also disappointed this venue does not offer dairy free milk (apart from soy).
