Spotted yesterday in Torres del Paine national park on the transfer out, a puma just crossing the road!
Puma tracking is growing in popularity and as pumas are getting more used to humans, sightings are becoming more frequent. Although, as this video shows sometimes you can just be very lucky!
Thank you for sharing such a great video with us!

When visiting Peru, Machu Picchu is very much a must but alongside this ancient citadel there is a miriad of options which shouldn't be forgotten. Here are some of the things Lizzy got up to on her last visit to Peru.

It really is worth a visit when you are in Buenos Aires. There is a little cafe at the back, where the stage would be!

Happy New Year!
Let's hope every day in 2019 is as great as this day in Futaleufu, Chile!
A morning fly-fishing lesson followed by a thrilling afternoon paddle down the Blue River!

Merry Christmas from all at Last Frontiers, and all these adorable sealions in the Galapagos! I just couldn’t choose my favourite picture so here are my favourite 8! All taken by Hannah on her recent trip to the Galapagos.

Happy Christmas Eve!
These wonderful wintery photos were recently taken by some clients in Antarctica! They were really lucky with some lovely sunny weather and plenty of penguins!

Emily has recently returned from her trip to Argentina and Chile. Here are some of her pictures from the Argentine lake district in the beautiful Los Alerces National Park. She even saw Chilean flamingos which she wasn't expecting!

There are three types of boobies in the Galapagos, Hannah was lucky to spot all three and get a good shot of each. Nazca boobies are the largest, with white plummage and a bright orange bill. Blue-footed boobies and red-footed boobies are easily identified by their colourful feet.

Lizzy has just returned from a group trip to Colombia where they visited one of the lesser known archaeological sites called Tierradentro.
Take a look at some of her favourite photos.

One of the hightlights of the Galápagos Islands has got to be the swimming with sea lions. They have such an inquisitive nature, it is facinating to watch them play!

To brighten up your Monday, here is a snap of Sue's adorable new additions to the family! Her dog Mij had 5 in total, born 10 November 2018. They may look lovely and peaceful here but she has certainly got her hands full - one has already escaped the picture!

A firm favourite with any one who visits is Iguazu Falls. Nikki has been lucky enough to revisit and assures us that the falls are just as spectacular the second time round. Although it is 20 years since her last visit, the park has not massively changed and she once again got the enjoyment of being drenched on the boat trip, just like before!

Nikki has just returned from her exciting road-trip in north-east Argentina. Whist exploring the Iberá Wetlands she was lucky enough to see some fantastic wildlife and with over 350 bird species it is a birder's dream. One of her highlights was seeing a marsh deer but it evaded her camera lens!

User

A firm favourite with anyone who visits, Iguazu Falls Nikki says is just as good the second time round. With twenty years between visits they remain as impressive as they ever were and she assures us that you still get drenched on the boat trip!

Some fantastic photos recently taken in Chile and Bolivia along with some excellent feedback from clients who just returned from their 4 week trip!
Condorri hike - 'We had an excellent guide and driver - and a very comfortable 4WD. This was an amazing day out. We coped alright with the altitude and got up to the refuge below Condoriri in the suggested 3 hours. The views were fantastic.'
Uyuni - 'We had a wonderful day out on the salt flats with lots of fun photography. What a... place.'
The Altiplano - 'We saw vicuña, vizcachas, a friendly Andean fox, geysers, the most amazing desert scenery. There aren't enough superlatives.'
