About Lebberston Touring Park

Lebberston Touring Park is hidden away between the edge of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds and the spectacular Heritage Coast of North Yorkshire.

Lebberston Touring Park Description

Our caravan site offers great surroundings to relax and unwind and is perfect for those seeking a restful break on a tranquil park. Ideally suited for quiet couples, singles and young families, our location means that, while it feels as though you’re in the middle of nowhere with fabulous views over the Vale of Pickering and the Yorkshire Wolds, in reality you are so near to civilisation that you can be shopping in Scarborough town centre or eating fish and chips on the front in Filey in no time.

The Tour de Yorkshire carnival comes to Filey! Give it the revs!

User

We're getting ready for the Tour de Yorkshire in Fantastic Filey on Saturday! To get you in the mood catch Stage 2 live on ITV4 tomorrow or the highlights on Look North, then come and see Stage 3 in the flesh with us on the Yorkshire coast. Great cycling, Bank Holiday sunshine, the fabulous Filey Folk Festival and an extra day off work, what's not to love!

User

It's not long now until the Tour de Yorkshire. We thought you'd like some info about what's happening on Stage 3 along the spectacular Yorkshire Coast so you can get yourself organised.
It's on Saturday 5th May 2018 and is just 184km long - no sweat!
Race Timings...... A caravan of 30 decorated vehicles will be driving the Stage 3 route about an hour before the race, to hand out souvenirs and bring a carnival atmosphere so make sure you're in situ an hour ahead of these times to enjoy the party!
1. Richmond - Official Start 13:20 2. Northallerton - 14:15 3. Thirsk - 14:36 4. Sutton Bank - 14:50 5. Helmsley - 15:06 6. Pickering - 15:35 7. Scalby - 16:25 8. Scarborough - 16:29 9. Filey - 16:48 10. Scarborough - 17:26
If you're looking for some race day family fun here are some ideas.....
Lots of Filey fun to particiapte in! Including RNLI open weekend, giant sand art, and musical performances from musicians at Filey Folk Festival at venues throughout the town.
In Scarborough there are free Family Fun Zone activities for everyone to enjoy on race day. They include, a climbing wall, a giant inflatable assault course and face painting.
Other events to check out in Scarborough over the weekend are the Food Fair, Festival of Speed and the Vintage Fair.
All this and it's a Bank Holiday weekend so you get an extra day off work!

The sun is shiny on Lebberston this morning, Mr Moo's have delivered a freezer full of ice cream. We'll try to save you some but that Cheeky Cherry is looking goooood!πŸ˜‹

Fancy a walk from Filey to Scarborough on the worst Mini Beast from the East day? Well done to the BBC Look North Big 50 Sofa Challenge team who are doing just that. Horrible weather, painful snowfall (those little blighters are stinging today), freezing cold but a very strong following wind pushing them along so that's a bonus! Hope Harry's knee holds out and at least he's got the sofa to sit on if it gets too bad, with Paul, Amy and special guest star, Keeley to push him along. Go team!

User

Look who's coming past the end of the drive for Sport Relief! Get down there and give them a waveπŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹. Follow them on Twitter @BBCSofa. Go Amy and Paul, Harry you just sit back and relax!πŸ˜†

User

At last a sunny day to get out and take a photo and extend a warmer welcome to our new wardens Mick and Sue. They've been doing sterling work so far with getting the park prepped for the season. We're looking forward to working together over the next eight months, especially now the snow has gone. They're looking forward to meeting you all soon.

User

The water is on and there are no problems that we can see, yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

User

A plus side of the cold weather is this little Fieldfare has been visiting our garden to fill up on berries from the trees and hedges. The RSPB website says 'May come into gardens in severe winters when snow covers the countryside'. Well the snow is certainly doing that! It looks as though the cold snap should break tomorrow (Sunday) so the plan is to turn the water on in the morning and we can all get back to normal. Finger crossed the forecasters are right and spring can start properly.

User

It's still very rough here on the East Coast. The wind remains incredibly strong and the temperatures are not rising yet meaning we are unable to turn the water on to the park. Looking at the current forecast we hope to be able to turn it on by Sunday but obviously this is subject to change. Stay safe and keep warm.

User

It's just getting worse!

User

Hope you’re all managing to stay warm and away from the Beast from the East.
Just an update for you, although we don’t have a lot of snow it is bitterly cold. If you are determined to come on 1st March please be aware that to avoid burst pipes throughout the park we have had to drain down so there will be no water until the temperature gets above freezing which, based on the current forecast, looks like the weekend.
We know this is disappointing for you but unfortunately it is not something we can do much about. Hopefully the Beast will diddle off soon and we’ll return to regular wet weather!

User

We've just received this Christmas ditty from the lovely Bev C and thought you'd love it just as much as we did!
SANTA IS A YORKSHIREMAN
Santa is a Yorkshireman ... Of this I'm fairly sure I heard him tiptoe in my room At roughly ten to four "I 'ope tha's fast asleep" he said "Or tha'll get nowt my lad" He smelled of Hi Karate (Must 'av pinched it from my dad) Just down stairs I'd left a treat Santa loves a beer He loves pork pies and single malt That was Dad's idea When I woke next morning I ran down stairs to see If Santa had been kind enough To leave gifts under t'tree He got our mam a nightie And a pair of china pigs Our dad got socks and undies And 200 Park Lane cigs My sister got a Barbie Sat on a plastic horse A One Direction annual Which she loved of course When I unwrapped my parcels My Yorkshire heart did sing Each gift that Santa gave me A truly wondrous thing A flat cap for my noggin A vest of finest string The ferret keepers handbook Each gift fit for a king So thank you Santa thank you You surely are a tyke But can you please remember Next year I'd like a bike

How's this for an unusual Christmas tree? It looks fantastic on the Coble Landing and a big thanks and well done to all those who put in so much time and effort in giving us something so unique.

User

Humdinger of a storm yesterday! Scarborough even made the national news at lunchtime but we'd been bumped to third item on the local news by the late bulletin! It knocked our broadband off and some circuits on Lebberston Vale but the water is draining away nicely now and it's a beautiful warm sunny day. Looking forward to a great Bank Holiday weekend, (note to sun - keep shining, thanks!)

Would definitely recommend this site and I think we will be back in the not too distant future.

Just come back from another stay at Leberston. Its always very clean & tidy, the shower/toilet blocks are immaculate. The pitches are a good size and easy to get onto-however should you need assistance they will help, as we saw this many times whilst we were there. Well done Leberston 😊

User

Have stayed at Lebberston since the kids were little, this is a great site for families, with a lovely big playing field visible from your van. Spacious pitches with electric, some slightly sloping depending where you are on site. Spotlessly clean throughout with excellent facilities including a family bathroom and laundry. Lovely and quiet, and staff are on hand even after hours to make sure it stays that way. Basics are available from the small reception shop and there is a bus stop close by on the main road if you want to visit any of the local towns. There is also an enclosed dog walk and separate nature area. Highly recommended, we go back year after year.

User

Had a great time staying here recently with the family, staff and other campers really friendly and will help with anything you need. The park and toilet/shower blocks are very clean and the park is a great base for surrounding areas... can't wait to be back 😁😁

Enjoying our stay here! unfortunately its our last night but we will definitely be back! Perfect site, great location. Beautifully looked after and the cleanest shower/toilet block we have seen! Thank you for a brilliant few days, the only downside is that we couldnt stay longer.

User

Don't want to go home, want to stay in this little piece of Yorkshire heaven forever.

Beautifully kept, peaceful and lovingly cared for little site is tucked away near Filey. The owners never seem to stop working, they have three beautifully clean toilet/shower blocks, one even has a bath so for 20p you can have a long soak in a red hot bath.

I will be back soon to enjoy another relaxing break xxx
