I have always loved to bake at home, and when my children were diagnosed with food allergies, a whole new challenge was presented to me; baking all their favourites and keeping them safe. Lizzie's can offer you a wide range of treats and bakes, from morning goods to afternoon tea and all in between. Novelty cakes are also available for all occasions. Gluten and dairy free are a speciality, but as my husband will testify I'm pretty good at 'normal' too. . We do use wheat flour in the house, but ngci baking is always done first as priority. With traditional baking at the end of the day, then the kitchen is scrubbed ready for tomorrow. I hold a level 2 Food safety and Hygiene for catering certificate.

Bit of a throw back Saturday. Five years ago. My first wedding cake for my oldest, dearest friend. A Jamaican black cake for the groom. A traditional English fruit for the bride. The vans for their respective jobs and all their beloved pets. So much fun to bake.
Order a gluten free Victoria sponge, Coffee cake or Lemon cake for your Macmillan coffee morning on September 28th for £5 instead of the usual £10. Lizzies will donate £5 for each cake to the Sue Ryder foundation. A hospice charity close to our heart. 🍰🍰
🌲Now taking orders for gluten free and Vegan Christmas bakes. Your wish is my command! This fairy will need your wishes by the Chepstow Lights market on December 1st. Lizzies will be closed 7pm 23rd December 2018 - 2nd January 2019 inc'. I will always try and honour any request but I cannot guarantee for Christmas after December 1st.🌲

Up early to bake an old family recipe ready for #market tomorrow. It was given to my mum when she lived in Germany before I was born. The ingredients switch from metric to imperial and at points give up entirely 'a pinch' or 'a handful'. The sparsity of instructions make the GBBO technical challenge look like a guided reader!!! With that in the oven - now I've recalculated Gas Mark to Celcius, it's time for a brew!! ☕

🎉🎈🎉🎈My cooker is finally repaired after a very trying month, with things displaced everywhere! Lizzies will be back open from September 1st. Currently planning what to bring to Chepstow market on September 9th. Comment below if any particular requests. On Sunday or Monday I will be baking some granola orders, so please shout if you want adding to the list! 🎉🎈🎉🎈
It is with deep regret that I have to close Lizzies for 1 month. I have had a catastrophic equipment failure, and as such will not be operational until September the 1st. My sincere apologies to any customers affected by this. Liz.x

Lizzies is closed next week. Saturday 14th - Sunday 22nd July. I am off to find some beautiful beaches, where I can read my cookery books and think up new ideas.

My son has life threatening food allergies and I follow the same diet. Eating out has become impossible so to say I was excited about finding Lizzie’s stall at Chepstow Market is an understatement. I tried a vegan and GF chocolate brownie and basil & olive focaccia which were both delicious. I can’t wait for next month, already dreaming about the chocolate cake. Thanks Lizzie!
Lizzie made our wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing, exactly how we’d pictured. We didn’t want a traditional white iced cake, we wanted something very specific and personal to us. Lizzie didn’t bat an eyelid at our ideas and created a masterpiece xx
Liz has made many cakes for me but by far the best was my sons christening cake in a Noah’s Ark theme to feed 150 it was decorated beautifully and tasted delicious!
I would highly recommend Liz's cakes and produce.
