We have had a great year at Lowther House, seeing the business go from strength to strength, we've met some lovely people and had some very supportive customers and guests. We are now handing over the reigns to Helen and John White who will make a great job of taking Lowther forward. Please continue to support them. We wish them every success x

Flower jars ready for the tables tomorrow. (The great thing about sweet peas is you have to keep picking them!!)

This weekends soup is butternut squash, harrisa and chickpea, but think it's going to be courgette (and roasted pepper or tomato or blue cheese) for a few days, having a bumper harvest! (Variety is 'Ivory' )

Blossom Hut is ready for guests! Our newly extended and refurbished shepherd's hut is available to hire.

Just had a delicious sample box delivered by 'Yorkshire Baker' Cheryl@julyanthebaker.co.uk - will definitely be stocking some of their products.

Our first batch of strawberries from the new veg patch, not enough to make jam, but will definitely be good with some fresh cream!

Lots of the flowers are out in the Lowther House garden right night, a lovely spot for a cup of tea and a slice of cake!

The peonies don't last that long, but they are lovely!

The Papaver poppy doesn't last long, but it is beautiful whilst it's here!

It's such a lovely morning, set up breakfast outside today for our Britstop guests.

Cakes from the Jazz evening! Strawberry, cream and shortcake, Blueberry, white chocolate and mascarpone and Chocolate ganache and raspberry. The chocolate was the first to sell out!

Great night at our 'Jazz on the Lawn' event last night. Many thanks to everyone who came along and to Ryedale Jazz. A lovely evening and the weather was very kind to us!
