Wonderful place! Close to coast and nothing too much trouble! Friendly staff, well stocked shop, immaculate facilities!! Will definitely return! Perfect place to camp! Can’t wait to return!

We came down from Edinburgh for 2 weeks with our daughters 4 & 5 years old. We visited many nearby attractions. The site was perfect in many ways, no pub onsite but one walking distance, staff very accommodating, showers and toilets are spotless. I could not recommend this site enough. We had a great time and would love to come back. Thanks for the great memories we’ve made.

This is the second time of staying at Lytton Lawn and it won't be our last. It is spacious, with good size pitches, full facilities which are well maintained. For those with children there is a playground, a sports field and an indoor games room.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a well stocked shop.

A great base for the New Forest, Milford and Lymington. The X1 bus stops on the main road immediately outside the site.

Some of the pitches are sloping but you can't have everything.

User

This is also our second visit to Lytton Lawn. It's a lovely friendly park that is very doggy friendly. We have a premier pitch and definitely think it's worth the extra money. This time we have a fab view across to the Isle of Wight!!! It's in a great location too. Close to Milford on Sea, Lymington and Brockenhurst. Would highly recommend.

User

This is about the 4th time we've stayed here & it just gets better. Lovely spacious, clean & peaceful site. A mile from Milford Village with good pubs & shops, then another half a mile to the beach. Within easy reach of Lymington & the New Forest. Amenity block is spotless & warm. We will definitely return!

User

Lovely spacious executive pitch. Very helpful and friendly staff. Enough on sight to keep the children happy. Ie) a small games room, playground, a field to play ball. Feels lovely and safe so our 8 year old made friends with all the other children on site. A wonderful time had by us ( the recharged parents) and our 3 children. Thank you Lytton lawn.

User

Lovely site - stayed Easter - shame about weather - staff very friendly and so helpful - highly recommend!!

User

Lovely location, great facilities (shower is better than mine at home!), helpful staff and really good value for money particularly as you have the added benefit of being able to use the swimming pool, clubhouse, gym etc facilities of the nearby caravan site.

Will definitely return.

User

I went here for rally! And it was great! Beautiful views! Great size pitches! And great facilities! Can't wait to do it again!

User

Fabulous dog friendly campsite , good pitches, clean hot showers, friendly staff. Central to everywhere. Only downside is no recycling ( I'm a fanatic) and maybe a goalpost on the football field to get the kids off the wifi. Other than that fabulous - we'll be back !

User

Absolute fantastic site. Showers are lovely and hot and the shower/toilet block is very clean. We have been here a week now and sadly going home tomorrow. We will be returning very soon.

The only negative is that slot of the pitches are sloping so if that bothers you then you need to be choosy !!

User

The site was clean and tidy the pitch was plenty big enough for our tent the power went out during football and the staff was quick to sort it even if my husband had to watch on his phone along with everyone else the staff was fab couldn't fault them

User

Lovely family site.We stayed beginning of July in our caravan.Lovely weather so lots of tents with families, so site was lively with children.Bit noisy at night from the tenters - children reluctant to go to sleep and Mums and Dads chatting etc. But hey ho ....we knew the site wasn't adult only.Reception /Shop Staff very friendly and helpful.Enjoyed the swimming pools and the woodland walk at the sister site at Shorefields.

User

Just returned home after a 2 week stay in our touring caravan .. overall this is a good campsite for tents & caravans alike . Very good shower block ( no timed push button in showers for water like alot of sites which is a plus) great wash up area, but make sure you have your own washing up bowl as no plugs in sinks ! . Nice little shop , but most major supermarkets are only 10 mins away by car . Good Park wardens & staff who keep the place tidy & clean etc . You can of course also use the facilities available at Shorefield Country Park, which is just over two miles away, we did not ourselves visit , but if you have children it is very good, you would need to go by car or bike !.The pitches are well marked out & mostly of a good size, they seem to keep the site from being too over crowded , giving you plenty of room . My only negative comments about the site is the whole area is on a gradual slope from top to the bottom end where we was pitched , this makes it good for drainage; but a little difficult for getting your caravan level. You need lots of wood blocks to put under the van feet or level ramps etc. Also especially at the bottom end if your car is not a 4 wheel drive it can be difficult to pull back up from off the grass pitches; watch your clutch & keep in low gear. There are more level hard standing pitches which seem to favour large caravans. Also arrival time of 12.00 midday & Departure at 10.00 am are Strictly enforced by an eager park warden ! Would i return again ? , probably not in a caravan on a grass pitch , but if you can cope with this everything else is great to enjoy a nice break in the new forest area .

User

Just had our second stay here. Great little park for families and the main park just up the road for swimming and entertainment. Only issue I had was the shower temperature for the kids but I made do with washing the baby in the washing up sinks! Sorry to anyone staying this week who was woken by my poorly screaming baby at 2am Thursday morning!

User

Excellent 3 night stay, we have booked for another in July

User

Pros

The staff were friendly

The campsite itself was clean and tidy

You can use the facilities at the sister site called Shorefield where there is a swimming pool, club house, restaurant, spa, tennis courts and access to the beach

The campsite was quiet in the nights apart from people on their phone by the toilets at 11pm and children about 10 years old approaching strangers at around 10pm messing about and sitting on the chairs as you enter the site

Cons

The sister site is a ÂŁ12 taxi ride away or 2 mile car trip

The site is overpriced for the facilities and cleanliness

The ladies toilets and showers were really dirty evenings and mornings. They charge nearly double over the bank holiday but the toilets were only cleaned once a day.

No sanitary bins so lazy people made a big mess and this was left all day and night after an 11am clean

The bins were overflowing and right next to the toilets

Really unfortunate plot for us next to the toilets and overflowing bins and the road at just under ÂŁ100 for two nights for two adults

Not value for money on the bank holiday weekend

User

Oh dear guys. 3rd time unlucky. Q.Can we park the camper frontend inwards so the doors of our vans face each other.

A.NO!

Q. As you have a lot of spare pitches tomorrow and we would like to take the dog for a walk before we head home can we park the camper and caravan on one pitch and pick them up in a couple of hours.

A. No you can keep them on your pitches for 1/2 day fee, that will be ÂŁ25 each please.

No BBQs or party's after 9

no social gatherings after 10. The social gathering police came around at 10.25 to make sure. When asked if the policing included the pre 8am quiet time the Wardens said yes unfortunately they were still in bed and didn't hear the 6am family risers who wanted to play games.

Sorry Lytton lawns you are over priced and your greediness and unhelpful staff spoilt our Weekend.

User

We arrived for a 3 night stay over the May bank holiday weekend. We were placed in the corner at the bottom of the hill.

The first night there was an horrendous storm and our tent held up to it. However the site had a drain cover blow and was emptying sewage half way down the hill. This resulted in our tent sitting right in the flow of it. After finding out we were floating In sewage and who knows what else we asked the site what they were going to do about it.

The site tried to get us moved but was told there was no other pitch available and they could get us a static for one night in the other camp however we would of still had to cut our holiday short and go home early.

This was all happening as we were frantically trying to empty our tent out.

No offer of help from the site or staff just them coming onto our pitch looking at the water and walking away after keep saying it wasn’t their fault it was a blockage on the road.

The camp took ages to corner off some of the spillage and other campers was walking in it.

The site manager said we could have a jet was to wash our own tent down but not one offer to help.

We managed to get packed up however decided that the wet contaminated tent wasn’t coming with us. We also had lost lots of our other camping iteams and needed to leave them behind. Site would not take any responsibility for any of the incident even know others had reported the problem hours before.

We struggled to get an apology and wanted a refund from them. We got all sorts of excuses will need to wait for booking to Refund us. Manager wasn’t authorised to process refunds. It’s not my fault and I will get in trouble and will need to take the blame if I do it.

She finally got through on the phone to some one that could and we got two nights back.

We were offered another stay rather than a refund but now have no tent left to camp in so we feel it was an insult to us as I was fighting back tear standing in sewage.

We have lost thousands of pounds of camping kit and walked away with out even an apology.

Customer service on this site is shocking and management seem not to be able to cope in an emergency.

At time of writing we are still corresponding with them for a conclusion

The only negative is that slot of the pitches are sloping so if that bothers you then you need to be choosy !!

User

The site was clean and tidy the pitch was plenty big enough for our tent the power went out during football and the staff was quick to sort it even if my husband had to watch on his phone along with everyone else the staff was fab couldn't fault them

Excellent 3 night stay, we have booked for another in July
