PERTH - Clan Chieftain Tour 28th May - 1st June
Join our Clan Chieftain as he travels to the wonderful city of Perth located on the banks of the River Tay.
... Your Itinerary Day One - Travel north through Yorkshire with a lunch stop in Durham. We then continue through Northumberland into the Scottish borders with a refreshment stop at Jedburgh. For the final part of the journey we pass Edinburgh into the Kingdom of Fife before reaching the fair city of Perth and the Salutation Hotel. Day Two - Drive along Strathmore to the village of Glamis to visit the beautiful Glamis Castle. We then cross over the Sidlaw hills to the city of Dundee to a visit to the Discovery Centre. Our return takes us along the Tay estuary and the Carse of Gorie to our hotel. Day Three - Follow the course of the River Tay north westward along Strathtay to Aberfeldy amid the rolling hills then over the Braes O Foss into Strath Tummel to reach the resort of Pitlochry. In the afternoon return along Strathtay to Perth, with a stop en-route at Bells Distillery. Day Four- Day tour around the Kingdom of Fife visiting St Andrews, and the old fishing port of Anstruther on the Firth of Forth, return to Perth via Glenfarg. Day Five - Homeward via the motorway passing Stirling and Glasgow before crossing the Lowther Hills into Annandale and a stop at Moffat. We travel to the border at Gretna, then byway of the M6 back to the Midlands.

... Joining Torvill & Dean on tour will be a host of celebrities and professional skaters from the new Dancing on Ice series, which starts on ITV in January next year. Jayne & Chris will host the tour once more and take up their new roles as Head Judges. The King and Queen of Ice will be on hand to give their expert critical feedback and their all-important scores to the celebrities and their skating partners.
In addition to the scores from the Ice Panel Judges, arena audiences can text vote from their mobile phones for their favourite skating couple. Audience votes will then be added to the scores from the Judges to decide the overall celebrity winning couple. They will then take to the ice to perform a magical finale.
Please note: The Arena is now operating new bag and search policies. Please do not bring bags to events if possible. If you need to bring a bag, no rucksacks or bags larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm will be permitted. Lockers will not be available for use. Dutch Delight 4th - 7th May
A delightful spring weekend break with a distinctive Dutch flavour visiting the world famous Keukenhof gardens and including trips back in time by steam tram and museum boat.
... Your Itinerary Day One - Travel from Dover to Calais and on to the Utrecht/Amersfoort area of Holland for a 3 night stay at Kontakt der Kontinenten Hotel.
Day Two - Head north to Hoorn and board the famous tram for our adventure through the lovely Dutch countryside to Medemblik. During the journey, you will be served coffee and a local pastry. On arrival, you have free time to explore Medemblik before boarding the museum ship Friesland for our included cruise to Enkhuizen. From here make your way home across the Houtribdijk, a 27km dike built between 1963 and 1975, which crosses what used to be the Zuider See and is now the Ijsselmeer, the largest inland lake in Western Europe. Look out for the radio station half way, before joining a polder "Flevoland" which is reclaimed land from the former sea.
Day Three - After breakfast, it's a full day excursion to and through the Dutch Bulbfields to the Keukenhof Gardens named "The Greatest Flower Show on Earth", with over 70 acres of parkland and 10 miles of walkways. Admire a vast collection of hundred of thousands of flowers displayed in the beautifully landscaped gardens, which adorn the estate.
Day Four - Retrace your steps to Calais for the return ferry to Dover.
Included on this tour: Keukenhof Gardens One way trip on the tram from Hoorn to Medemblik (inlcuding coffee and pastry) Cruise on the museum ship from Medemblik to Enkhuizen.
