OWNER FOUND AND REUNITED!! THANK YOU, EVERYONE :) I have found & rescued beautiful husky dog this morning on the road to Bolton abbey. He has no eyes & is very gentle. Obviously well looked after as a softy. Does anyone know him to be missing or who he belongs to? Please contact Georgina at Masons Campsite 01756720275 or on here. Please share

What a great place, stayed last night and wasn't disappointed! I would definitely return as it's clean, set in beautiful countryside and has a few pubs in walking distance. Only advice I have would be to book a table at one of the local pubs in advance as they don't all serve meals after 6pm.

User

We only found out about mason through a friend last year, we camped for a week we have just had a few days camping again and have not been disappointed. It is well looked after the staff are lovely, the showers and toilets are very clean, the surrounding walks are great. I would recommend this campsite its lovely.

User

We love it here! We have been a few times and will definitely go again. The staff are super friendly and the facilities are brilliant.

User

Stayed here a few times now. Never disappointed. The site is lovely and clean. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Lovely place to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. I stayed with my daughter, my granddaughter and the dog. We all had a great time. Lovely mix of families, couples and groups all enjoying this amazing space. Can't wait to come back again 😀😀

User

Personally I think this is one of the best campsites I've been to. Not only is the setting is one of Yorkshire's most beautiful but the attention to detail around the site and the thought that has gone into everything makes this a truly special place. We come here once a year and look forward to it every time. Never lets us down.

User

Loved this site, all staff very friendly and helpful especially when they come to the rescue with the jump leads when the car decides not to start!. Lovely location great walk to Burnsall, and easy access to the river. Definitely recommend it.

User

Just come back from our first camping trip in 40 years. We absolutely loved this site. Facilities and location were brilliant. Highly recommend

User

Just back from a few days at this pretty little campsite. Friendly welcome from the staff who are most helpful and work tirelessly to keep the site clean, tidy and well maintained. Good facilities, well signposted and fab little shop. Love the quirky signage and messages around the site. Had a great 'feel' to it too. Even our 15 year old German shepherd was made to feel very welcome. Close to pubs, beautiful walks and lovely peaceful surroundings. We were lucky for a couple of nights to have lots of room but sadly were joined by a rowdy bunch of people who pitched right next to us and disturbed the ambience. (not the sites fault though) Would definitely recommend and would return again.

User

It awful; don't go. More room for me!

The fresh coffee is pants, the croissants have a lot to be desired as does the fresh bread and hot showers. The local pub only has 5 or 6 great beers and their single malts only have 5 of the top 10 in the U.K.

User

Great hidden treasure. The ideas keep coming.

User

Fantastic site in a great location. The kids loved it, although we did have the weather on our side. Staff friendly, good quality barista coffee shop and on site shop that sells all the essentials. The shower facilities are very clean and kept on top of on a regular basis. The only downside our party found was the waiting time in the shower block. Wasn't a massive problem but maybe something for the future. Overall, we had a superb weekend and will definitely revisit

User

Awesome place awesome service

User

Summer holidays and busy, however we was greeted with a smile, directed to check in where we were checked in efficiently. Found our pitch and had a laugh with the coffee girls two freshly made lattes and some homemade flapjack. Site clean, toilets and shower block clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Location in walking distance of Burnsall, two good food pubs again with walking distance, site easy access to the river in the beautiful Yorkshire dales

User

Still one of the most spectacular camp sites in Gods own county (when the suns out ) ... More staff needed to meet the increase in campers at key times ...

User

Really enjoyed our first trip to this site. We were warmly welcomed, the facilities were spotless , a fab location and great pub (the craven arms) a 5 minute walk away. We will return 😁

User

Lovely site, friendly atmosphere, good clean facilities. Loved the recycling buckets, fab idea and the fire pit was awesome! Only downside which isn’t the sites fault was the midges, we all got eaten alive even after using insect repellant and burning citronella!

User

Lovely campsite in a beautiful location on the riverside, a short walk to Burnsall. The campsite was busy as it’s clearly popular so book ahead. Good amenities but the showers are not great, shower heads positioned about 8 ft high with poor flow so avoid hair washing at all costs!! Great little shop and also a cafe serving fresh coffee and patisseries, although a bit steep at £1.20 for a pain au chocolate and £3 for a baguette . That aside we are very much look forward to visiting again

User

Great if you're adults, going to visit outside of school holidays. Or if you enjoy hordes of screaming kids running around perhaps you'd enjoy visiting during school holidays. Just spent 3 great nights there with 3 friends. Last night was very different. Campers arriving with their unruly brats had their tents packed together like a music festival. Noise from kids and adults went late into the night and started again at 7am. Would go again but definitely not during school holidays. Ugh.

User

Well we have just returned from the Masons Campsite .. we went back after a fabulous camping trip 4 years ago .. got to say things were not the same .. most of the staff were rude .

And negative ...apart from Alan .. One evening we was playing games with our children and had music on low .. bearing in mind quite time is 23:00 to 07:00 .. we was asked to turn the music down at 22:00 ..we was told there were other people camping ... Yes we know we paid £650 for the pleasure we also was asked very rudely if I could get my Puppy at 24 weeks old to stop barking .. again this was only due to him been excited and this was also through the day ... then on Thursday my In laws came to visit and we made sure the dogs were well exercised feed and watered .. we left them secured in our Safari tent (which was very spacious) and went for a meal to the Craven Arm (which was beautiful) My 16 year old daughter returned to the campsite 1 hour later and as she was walking home we received a Phone Call at the pub from the Campsite saying they were very concerned about the welfare of the dogs ... absolutely ridiculous... my husband explained that my daughter was on her way ... when she got back a staff member came up and started going on at her again ... The dogs were both fine ... one the upside the tent was well equipped although needed to be better positioned... the electric kepted going off and in the end my husband had to sort this out .. The campsite seems to have lost its charm sad really as it was fantastic on our first visit...

It awful; don't go. More room for me!

The fresh coffee is pants, the croissants have a lot to be desired as does the fresh bread and hot showers. The local pub only has 5 or 6 great beers and their single malts only have 5 of the top 10 in the U.K.

Great hidden treasure. The ideas keep coming.

Still one of the most spectacular camp sites in Gods own county (when the suns out ) ... More staff needed to meet the increase in campers at key times ...

Really enjoyed our first trip to this site. We were warmly welcomed, the facilities were spotless , a fab location and great pub (the craven arms) a 5 minute walk away. We will return 😁

Lovely site, friendly atmosphere, good clean facilities. Loved the recycling buckets, fab idea and the fire pit was awesome! Only downside which isn’t the sites fault was the midges, we all got eaten alive even after using insect repellant and burning citronella!

Ugh.
