The next workshop in the studio is Upcycle, Alter and Adapt. This is a 2 part workshop, firstly to establish what and how you want to Upcycle something. Maybe it's an old favoutite garment that no longer fits or is dated , but you can't bear to part with it, or you've got something in your wardrobe you just don't wear for whatever reason. We will look at various possibilities to craft your clothes onto new ones, giving them a new lease of life. We then gather up resources to make it possible and return on the 24th Nov to cut it all up and start all over again ( and it could be a lot simpler). A slow sewing antidote to fast fashion. What a fab few days sewing for a 7 year old! Erin was made to feel immediately at home and loved the sewing machine lesson and experience. I’m sure we’ll be back regularly!

My daughter has been attending Carol's kids sewing group regularly for the last few years, she absolutely loves all the creations she has made during her time here.
