This morning's rain will have put the colour back on #exmoor, the heather up there is so beautiful at the moment

All of our safari lodges have cabin beds, Kestrel, Hawk and Buzzard have double cabins, our new lodges Badger, Stag and Fox all have king cabins - perfect for children who want to share.

It's just under an hour from here to Lynton & Lynmouth, Head over there early and you can fill a day easily with so much to see and do. Park at Lynmouth and head up the cliff on Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway, Watersmeet House a few miles from Lynmouth is gorgeous (tricky path for toddlers but fine for older children, Valley of the Rocks is spectacular - (not toddler friendly) and with lovely wild goats in the road!

Birds Hill Days offers archery, clay pigeon shooting and fencing either here on our farm or up the lane in nearby Washford where there's a good pub The White Horse Inn too.

Outside of the school holidays we welcome adult groups. Our new lodge Stag sleeps 8 people and there are two lodges either side of it - all with hot tubs and amazing views onto Exmoor. Glamping after dark. Come and stay in September when it's a bit quieter here mid week and our prices drop after the end of August. Our 6 safari lodges are open until the end of October and we have a couples offer mid week with £100 off a 3-4 night stay if there are two of you (a child under 2 stays for free). Although it's lovely to head over the border to Devon on a day trip, Exmoor is so special because even in the height of summer most of Exmoor looks so peaceful like this. The views are heavenly, there are no queues on the road and I believe it's the least visited National Park in the country - no idea why but grateful for tranquility! #visitexmoor #exmoor #exmoornationalpark

We stayed here in the Hawk tent , really can not recommend enough , beautiful place and lovely little gestures such as apple juice on arrival and biscuits . Immaculate and well looked after . We will be back

We had a fantastic weekend away, it's in a beautiful location. The kids loved the goats and the play area, aswell as running around the meadow. The tent was sumply stunning, we have recommended it to many friends and family. Thank you.

We had a fantastic long weekend in the stable cottage and couldn’t find a single fault. What a beautiful place! Our 2 yr old absolutely loved the little tractors, and the lovely owners even let him feed the lambs one morning. We will definitely be returning!

This place is just perfect! What a magical time in a well thought out, beautiful and cosy setting. They have thought of everything and added extra touches that go beyond what you might expect. Toy baskets for the children, books and guides, extra blankets and towels, beautiful furniture which is practical and lovely. A kitchen better equipped than any I've known. Amazing scones with jam and cream to welcome you. The shop is fabulously stocked with everything you might need. A great selection of wine and beers and gin!!! The setting is beautiful and the tents themselves are equipped with all of the home comforts you didn't know you needed. Endless patience in letting the children feed the animals. Just beautiful. Absolute perfection. We will come back again and again (and possibly without the small Ines so we can spend more time enjoying peace and quiet)

Just returned from a fantastic week in the Buzzard Tent Accommodation was superb, location was amazing views of Exmoor and our Hosts accommodating with a lovely honesty shop for all your basics and lovely luxuries of homemade bread, fresh eggs, bacon and sausages etc. The kids had the best time especially with helping feed the goats and extra carrots they took to them. We hope to return Thanks for a fab getaway
