Midfields Granola

Baking over 2000 Cinnamon Cookies with my amazing two members of staff, has had no effect on me at all!!

You never know where Harry or Midfields Granola is going to turn up.

This is how it all began!

Storm on the way and we are off to do a tasting day at #Darts Farm . Wonder if these beautiful Beech leaves will still be on the tree when I get home! By the way our house is not subsiding.

Yesterday you saw a full tray of Chelsea Buns, made by Brian at Midfields Granola. Here is Lin our Supervisor enjoying them in her coffee break.

Thanks to "Bake Off" and Paul Hollywood my husband made these Chelsea Buns today, our Supervisor Linda Blake will be pleased tomorrow, nice with her Coffee break. We try to keep our staff happy.

Autumn Smoothie. Had a bit of time to spare this afternoon and threw this Granola Smoothie together. 1 banana, 1 cup natural yogurt , 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of Blackberry and apple puree and 1 cup Midfields Granola Wheat Free Granola or Gluten Free Granola. Place in blender and blend until smooth. I know what I will be having for breakfast tomorrow, nice and chilled in the fridge.

My personal thanks to the committee of Moretonhampstead Food and Drink Festival on Saturday, very organised and lovely atmosphere as always in my home town. You can see our trade stand in this picture, red Gazebo.

We love Fridays at Midfields Granola. Here is a member of staff cycling to work laden with produce from her garden, runner beans, courgettes this week and Lin brought plums, then we all swap our donations, lovely start to the weekend.

I went to visit Sharon and her team today and was made to feel very welcome. I was shown around the kitchens which were being deep cleaned for the shut down before Christmas and shown the stores. Sharon and her team are very passionate about their granolas and after tasting them, I can see why. There is so much choice with gluten free, wheat free and reduced sugar, not forgetting the 'everything in it' granolas. I will be stocking this at The Silver Otter in Ottery St Mary and encourage people to taste test, as I promise you wont ever go back.
