‪Its the last day of our tour of the UK today and we spent a few hrs in #Cambridge enjoying the city in yet another day of #greatweather ‬

‪Our journey is continuing southwards today and on leaving Edinburgh we made a visit to Rosslyn Chapel! #davincicode ‬

This afternoon we spent time visiting @stirlingcastle

‪On our drive through the Trossachs we stopped to see a Highland cow!‬

‪We’re heading out into the Scottish countryside today and we drove past the famous statues of the mythical Kelpies!‬

‪We’ve arrived in Scotland and one of our first stops is in the town of Moffat!... home to Moffat toffee & apparently ear-less rams!!‬

‪This morning we have a visit to the former home of William Wordsworth at Dove Cottage!‬

‪This afternoon we’re visiting Levens Hall in the Lake District!‬

This afternoon we’re taking a cruise on Lake Winderemere - England’s largest body of freshwater!

...and then on to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge!

‪We’re staying in Stratford-upon-Avon atm and we’ve spt the morning exploring with a visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace, + a chance to see Shakespeare’s Schoolroom @KES_Guildhall ‬

Mike was an absolute darling the entirety of our group tour; I and my partner came alongside a group of twenty-something students. He handled the large group with pristine professionalism and grace, even as things occasionally became chaotic with so many heads to count.



Atop this, Mike is extremely knowledgeable about the areas he serves & his experience in the field shows. Ask a question & he will have an answer - and possibly some trivia & a well-timed wisecrack.



We could not have asked for a better tour guide, whether in Edinburgh or London. I highly recommend his services.

Mike was amazing! He was very organized and had details posted for us before the trip even started. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited in Ireland and the U.K., and he was committed to making our trip the best it could be. He was flexible the couple of times things didn't go as planned (through no fault of his own), and the trip could not have gone more smoothly for our group, a total of about 40. If possible, I would specifically request Mike in the future.

Mike is an incredible tour guide and a wonderful human being. His knowledge, organization, personality and professionalism are top notch. It's been nearly four months since our trip and I still think about the great time we all had and the lasting memories. He strikes a perfect balance between guided touring and giving the attendees freedom to explore on their own. As a history teacher, I'm incredibly thankful for all of the interesting information he was able to share with us along the way. I'd gladly go on another tour led by Mike.

Almost all of the tour guides that I've traveled with through EF Tours have been amazing, but Mike is definitely one of the best. He is organized, professional yet personable, funny, flexible, and both very knowledgeable yet humble about what he doesn't know (but will find out for you). He made our group's trip to Edinburgh and London a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend you consider Mike as a tour guide--you won't be sorry.
