What a lovely experience we've had today finding the Mildmay once again a heartwarming place to be. Food was oustanding and the attentiveness and good company enough for us to think about moving back to the village! I hope you thrive and have a very long and satisfying stay in the Mildmay. We'll be back to visit again very soon.

The Mildmay Colours has a great atmosphere, very friendly staff and fantastic food. A must visit.

Phillip & Arthur have made our Easter weekend break amazing. We’ve eaten in here and tried everything on the menu - it’s all homemade and the flavours are magnificent! A touch of South Africa in Holbeton. The atmosphere is beautiful and a must visit for anyone around south Devon. We cannot wait to come back already.

Phenomenal food tonight on the tasting menu. A fine balance between edgy and familiar, superbly executed. Congrats Arthur & Phil, looking forward to the full roll out over the coming weeks.

First time back to the Mildmay for a looooong time, and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Mussels to start with were perfectly cooked and heavenly - with a creamy tarragon sauce. And then THAT burger! OMG. Beautifully cooked beef, bacon, stilton, onion marmalade and herbs and spices tying it deliciously together - and those hand cut chips drizzled with balsamic vinegar were de-lovely!

Philip and Arthur you were the perfect hosts. We had such a giggle with you (I think we were lucky to get the extra-special treatment from you tonight) and we will certainly be back in force, en masse, and with back-up. Great food and great expectations from this new and charming team.

I'm coming back to get that bunny chow, the lobster bouillabaise and so much more!
