Performing Arts School teaching various aspects of dance, singing, musical theatre and drama with a strong emphasis on confidence building and fun.
Miss Lesley'S School Of Performing Arts Description
With over 30 years of experience as both a professional performer and qualified teacher Miss Lesley has brought her own style of teaching performing arts to rural Suffolk. Her first school opened in Bildeston, Suffolk in May 2011 and has gone from strength to strengh. More recently in May 2013 a new school opened in the village of Boxford.
Lesley started her performing arts training at the age of 4 years and at 11 years old won a scholarship to attend The Italia Conti Stage School in London. There she trained in all aspects of musical theatre till she was 18yrs old and graduated as a qualified ISTD teacher in modern and tap as well as gaining a diploma in Performing Arts. She was trained by the best teachers in ballet, tap, singing, drama and musical theatre.
During her successful career as an actress, dancer and TV presenter, she often went back to teach at the main academy. She has since managed her own Italia Conti Associate school in Clapham, South London and has also worked for Associate schools in Bow, East London and at the Italia Conti Associate school in Redbridge Essex.
She moved to Suffolk four years ago and is very proud to have two schools in rural Suffolk where she teaches all classes herself in a friendly and enjoyable environment whilst giving students a chance to get an all round training, gain confidence through dance and musical theatre but most of all to have fun!
Ages taught in classes aged: 3-4 yrs 4-5yrs; 6-8yrs; 9-12yrs, 13 + and ADULTS!
Also:
Wedding choreography, childrens themed birthday parties, dance demonstrations and shows /caberets.
Classes held for children every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during school term time at Chamberlin Hall, Bildeston.
Classes held for children every Saturday during school term time at Boxford Primary School, Boxford.
Adult dance /fitness classess currently taught on Thursday evenings at Chamberlin Hall, Bildeston at 7. 00pm - 8. 00pm.
Adult tap classes 8: 00pm-8: 30pm

Thank you ALL for the tremendous amount of hard work you have put in this year so far.... we have produced TWO incredible shows at both Bildeston & Boxford School and made memories we will all keep forever!! A special thank you to my wonderful parent helpers (not just at show time) but throughout the year who go above and beyond for MLSPA! Now it’s time for you all to enjoy a well deserved break..... I hope you all have a very happy Easter!!

** PROFESSIONAL VIDEO ****
Just a quick note to let you know that, further to many requests, we have now managed to arrange for a professional video company to come in and video the show on Sunday. ... They will then edit this and a downloadable copy of the show which will be available to purchase and keep forever. What a great memento of our 'A Million Dream Show'!!!
Copies of the show will be available at a price of just £14.00 on download link or memory stick.
This means that you do not need to sit there 'glued' to the back of your phone, you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the children's work, then you can watch the show at home and enjoy it with the children.
Copies will be on sale directly from Accolade Productions and full details will be given out tomorrow.

MORE HELP REQUIRED!!! I have a couple of more things I need help with so please take note of the below and please let me know if you can assist in any way……
CAKE BAKERS! As you know all our refreshment profits go into the 'performers pot' and a great way to boost this is with home made cakes, cookies & biscuits!... Please can I ask all you talented bakers out there to bring your delicious goodies on Sunday so we can sell them in our refreshment area before the show and during the interval. Also, we require a few more helpers to assist with the refreshments area before the show and during the interval, please email me ASAP if you are able to help, as my chaperones are stretched to the limit assisting your children and another duty for them will be impossible - we need to keep the queuing to a minimum and the only way this will happen is I have some more help please!
CAR PARK Are there any of you out there that can assist in ‘policing’ the car park at Ormiston - I just need someone to direct the cars into the correct car park area as we have been asked not to use the side staff/student car park. There is a large overflow car park in the grounds that should be used for parking with plenty of spaces - PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD IN THE RESIDENTS AREAS. If I can have a couple of volunteers to direct the traffic into thIs overflow car park that should keep everyone happy with no road rage happening when you cant find a space!!!! I'll even provide you with a high viz vest!!
CLOCKS GO FORWARD!! Finally…… just to add to my stress…… the clocks go forward on Saturday night!!! PLEASE PLEASE try and get the children to bed early on as losing that hour on such a long day may not be the best thing that can happen!!
