Tatting is a technique for handcrafting lace. You'll learn how to make the basic knot of tatting (double stitch), the decorative loops (picots), the characteristic oval shapes (rings) and curved lines (chains). This workshop will teach you the basic skills that may seem difficult at first, but once mastered are very easy and fun to do. Although you will not complete a project at this workshop, the practice pieces can be used as embellishments. The workshop will be held at 87... Cheriton High Street, Folkestone, Kent, CT194HE.
