We sank this new attraction a few days ago, has anyone found it yet?!
We'd love to see your photos.

Have you seen the new 'Hollywood Hills' inspired road sign for this year's FearFest-Evil event? It's outside the NDAC on the A48, just outside Chepstow.
If you're passing the National Diving & Activity Centre (NDAC) pop in to the View Cafe Bar for a coffee and the views over the lake. Then if you're feeling brave, why not grab a selfie with the sign - just be careful of the busy road and the creatures that live behind the tree line!!
The Rising is starting!

User

great location with lots to do, the wigwams are great and even the basic ones are warm and dry with electricity and tea making facilities, (just remember to bring a water container.

friendly staff and a some playing areas for the little ones. there's even a sand pit park at the top of the hill in the standard wigwam area with a couple of BBQ's and some picnic benches, so you can feed the family while you watch them play, we superb panoramic views. (not sure if this is just for the residents but nothing said it was)

User

Wow what an amazing place to have so close to home! We celebrated my cousin's Hen do here last night and it was truly amazing! The VIP wigwams were gorgeous as always, the food was amazing, the views are outstanding and the staff, you cannot fault them in the slightest all so lovely and accomodating I can't thank you guys enough! You made organising a Hen Do very easy so thank you very much! Also thank you Kay and Darren for the prossecco, we really appreciate it!

User

This morning we decided to go for breakfast and have a look.

Wow we where so impressed by staff knowledge and friendliness, activitys and the whole centre.

My daughter loved the play area and the range of things in it.

Food was absolutely amazing and quality and quantity very price competatitive. Im gluten and wheat intolerant and those needs where amazingly catered for. We shall certainly be back. Thank you for a enjoyable morning.

User

We visited NDAC for a day diving and thoroughly enjoyed it. The facilities are pretty good and the lake is nice and wet, all the way around. Food options whilst on site are fine, although the hot drinks are a bit pricey at times.

Recommended for a bit of diving.

User

We used a Groupon to book a wooden wigwam for two nights. We stayed in a standard wigwam which was quite basic but very warm and comfortable. I would recommend taking a plug in cooler box. Or if you can afford it the deluxe wigwams would have made the weekend perfect. The thing that made our weekend away so lovely was the staff in the cafe. They went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Recommending places to visit that our children would enjoy. I would highly recommend staying on site to eat. The food was reasonably priced, generous portions and incredibly tasty! If your a thrill seeker there's plenty to do on site. Giant swing. Zip wire. Diving. Fly boarding. Canoes. All in all a really excellent facility.

User

We stayed in one of the Deluxe Wig Wams and had such a lovely stay! Everyone was really friendly

The weather was particulary bad this weekend so it was quite quiet, but I would definitely come back and check out the Zip wire and the 3D swing.

The Deluxe cabins aren't suitable for under-18's as they are right on a cliff edge, but I would definitely come back and stay in one of the Standard cabins with friends and their kids in the Summer months! Our Wig Wam was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a lovely view of the Quarry lake on one side, and a spectacular view of the River Severn on the otherside.

To others who reviewed saying there isn't much to do? Well, they must have stayed in a different Tidenham to us

There is PLENTY to do, not only do you have the great facilities at NDAC but it's less than 30 minutes to The Forest of Dean, The Dean Railway, Butterfly Zoo, Old Little Dean Prison, Hopewell Colliery, Clearwell Caves, Go Ape, Lydney Docks, Arboretum, and in Chepstow which is 10 minutes away there are shops, a Castle and plenty of pubs.

Visit and explore

User

We spent a lovely evening at the VIP Wigwams. We ate at the cafe in the evening and I must say the steaks were as good as steak you would get in any steak house. Our Wigwam had a private hot tub and we were greeted with a complementary bottle of prosecco and chocolates. Would certainly recommend this place and will be returning soon.

User

We had a great day & night at the NDAC, we completed the zip wire & then stayed in a standard wigwam. We were impressed with both the zip wire & wigwam. The staff were all friendly & very helpful, the food in the cafe was outstanding! We are already planning on returning for another break!

User

We had a days diving yesterday and as always really enjoyed it.

User

The NDAC is part of our diving year, mainly Tech, but also just for a good bimble. We have been coming for a good number of years, and the place just gets better and better. I would and do recommend it for everyone who dives, be they open water or advance trimix.

User

My daughter and myself went stand up paddle boarding at the centre today. The place was fantastic, the only negative point was the showers, there are only 2, 1 was broken and the 1 that worked wasn't draining the water away! The staff were very helpful and friendly and the cafe food was tasty and not expensive. We are going back next month to do the zip line.

User

My daughter and her partner got married on the 2nd of June 2018 , and had there reception here , everything was perfect ,the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them . User

A really great day out at NDAC the failicitys are great with things to do for the kids. The dive site is great with lots to see and explore. Only bit which I found awkward is the travel from the car park and amenities (which could use some filling in) to the waters edge.

User

A fantastic inland dive centre with the best bacon buttie and hot tea. Oh and the diving staff are not too bad either joking apart the whole team and superb

User

3rd time staying here, deluxe accommodation is ideal for the weekend stay, diving is brilliant for all skill sets

User

It was very peaceful & relaxing, we stayed in the vip wigwam. As the diving and activity part was closed (mon-weds) there was not much for us to do, we went to Bristol for the day as that had more to offer. They have good takeaways in the area, there are a few pubs but the one we went to we weren’t a 100% happy with are food. Service however was excellent. No problems when leaving, handed key in to one of the staff.

User

Had a great morning, we all had a go on the zip wire, great fun. Staff very friendly and helpful, grandkids loved it. Did have a rock fall off the cliff and only just missed us as we were walking up to the wire, but staff were concerned and reported it immediately, great experience.

User

Did the zip wire. Seemed a little disorganised and waited round a lot but the actual zip wire experience was great

User

Did the zip line fab staff excellent, only down side it was a long walk to the zip line for my 74 year old mother who I might add loved the zip line .Could not use your own go pro and no photos available that day .Booked with groupon exelent value

User

Awesome time on the zipwire, friendly & professional staff that I came into contact with. Cafe was lovely again staff friendly, would be lovely to go back in the warmer season to sit out on the decking over looking the quarry. Cant wait to book back in for another zipwire ride & definately trying out the giant swing next time

User

The staff members that helped our group on and off of the zip wire were absolutely amazing. However the member of staff in the reception area giving us our bands could not have been any more Unhelpful, rude or patronising
