Did you know if a Blue-tongued Skink feels threatened it will turn towards the threat and try to scare it off by opening its big mouth and sticking out its tongue. It may also puff up its body and hiss.

QUESTION TIME. We’d love to hear your ideas. If you could see any new animal at Noah’s Ark what animal would you choose and why? Our management teams are planning our exciting future and we'd love your input.

The Eastern Rosella is a brightly coloured bird found in Australia and New Zealand. But did you know the young are born with very dull colours. The colours develop as the birds mature and males have the brightest colours to attract the females.

Did you know Wallabies can pause pregnancy? Shortly after fertilisation they can stop an embryo from developing. For example if the mother is not fit enough to provide enough nutrients for herself and the young, development of the embryo is paused until the conditions change, this increases the chances of survival.

It is with great sadness today that we announce the passing of George the Macaw. George was a favourite amongst staff and visitors. He would always say "hello" and wave to anyone who would stop for a chat.
George started showing signs of ill health last week and despite the best efforts of the team and vets his condition deteriorated and the decision was made to give George a peaceful end.
We know you will join us in sharing your sympathies with the Noah's Ark community who will be feeling his loss today. We would love to see and hear your memories of George in the comments below.

BIG NEWS! Last week was an exciting week for our Elephant team as Shaka was introduced to Janu and M'Changa. On day one they were only together for 10 minutes but under the watchful eyes of our keepers this has now been lengthened to the full day together. They are still separated at night time but the three are getting along well 🐘😍

User

Today is your last day to grab your tickets for our Carnivore and Curry night on Friday. This is our last evening event this year so don't miss out! https://www.noahsarkzoofarm.co.uk/eve…/ carnivore-curry-night

We went to Noah's ark zoo farm today for my son's 9th birthday. He and his brother did the junior keeper experience and they both loved it. We all had an amazing time.

I love how much room the animals have, the staff are all very welcoming and helpful. We spent the whole day there until it closed, and would have stayed longer if we could have.

Thank you so much to all of the staff for making today so great for my son's birthday!

We visited today with our 3 yr old grandson ( I don’t know who’s more exhausted). What a fabulous place It felt more like we were walking around a safari park. The animals have so much space. My grandson was a little dissapointed that the tarantula didn’t come out of his hiding place lol. Plenty of picnic tables around the different areas. And plenty of places for a picnic blanket We did have perfect weather today so that was s bonus Will definitely be back X Linda

We visited today And we had an amazing time , my boys loved every minute of the day and the adults did also , we live near Longleat and visit there a lot ,so we find we always compare places to there but wow we were amazed at how lovely Noah’s ark is to walk round , plenty for the kids to do and see and the animals looked sooooo well looked after and happy .

The staff all the way round from cafe to shop to tractor driver we’re all so friendly and happy , we will Def be visiting again and thank you for creating such a lovely park for people to visit . Katie😁

Travelled from Hampshire especially to go to this place. Family live near and been once before.

Had booked tickets and a giraffe encounter online for my daughters birthday. Entry was quick, animals all seemed very happy and in very clean areas.

The weather sadly was not in our favour as it was pouring.

Becca who looked after us when we fed the giraffes was lovely and full of information about the giraffes and we totally loved this experience. So thank you Becca as we came really for this experience.

The elephants and tigers were amazing and the bear and monkey were equally entertaining.

The play area around looked great fun and plenty for children to stop and play on, on a dry day.

Sadly we didn’t get to do the maze as it was so wet but we will be back in the summer to do this.

Great value for money. Highly recommend this place.

( one of best hot chocolates I have had for ages ) 😄

Took our Daughter for her 1st birthday yesterday and it was amazing! I was in awe of the keepers who clearly love the animals so much and they are so well looked after! It started raining so we escaped into the cafe for lunch, we had jacket potatoes, again I was impressed by the size of the meal and the service. We escaped into the indoor play area while it rained and my daughter loved it! Will definately be returning in the summer

User

This zoo is amazing, so much to see and do. The elephants eden was ace. You can see all the animal up close even when it is raining. The play area's are amazing their is so many, children will never get bored. We have 1 year old, and she loved the soft play area for under five,it the best we have ever be to. All the animal are clean and look loved. Recommend it to anyone.

User

Nice to see it is wheelchair friendly including some of the play equipment.

We had a fantastic afternoon and it was quite as it's school time. Our 13 year old even had fun! We got so close to a tiger there was only glass between us! The indor play equipment is super fun and us parents had a great time on it to The only niggles are that it's incredibly expensive to get in and we didn't see a singe talk during the 4 hours we were there. And that the slopes to climb up to the indoor slides are painful to walk on and very slippy. Other than that it's a fab day out!

User

Had the most amazing time here! All the staff were so friendly and passionate about their jobs, all the animals appeared well cared for and happy and there’s not much else you could wish for when visiting an animal park! We have been to many animal places but this place, we spent all day here and still didn’t manage to see everything so will definitely be back soon! We took our 2 kids aged 20 months and 9 months and my mum who is in her 60’s and there was definitely something for everyone - I think is adults had more fun on the tractor ride than most of the kids food in the restaurant was well priced and excellent portions. I literally cannot fault anything! A spectacular day had by all! Thank you!

User

Amazing place!

Didn’t get around all of it!

Will definitely be going again! Visited with daughter and grandchildren...

Lovely picnic areas, with lots of picnic tables...and several play areas for kids... indoor play place - nice cup of T...

couldn’t fault it, suppose because the weather was on our side...it was excellent!

Not so sure it would be any good on a wet day.....

Really well set out...

Giraffe, zebras, elephants, didn’t see Rhino but there is one, bears, and sweet little meerkats to name but a few...

top marks... large well planned enclosures...

ample parking....

Top marks....
