I stayed in the Nottley arms this June for 11 nights whilst doing my cpc course! I was on my own in a different place for this length of time! And I have to thank all the staff at Nottley for making me feel so welcome, especially Sandra she always made an effort to talk with me about my day and how I was! I will definitely be back hopefully for pleasure next time and not for work!

Again thank you all so much! Xx

User

Fantastic hidden gem, well priced, good home cooked food and friendly staff. Off the beaten track but well worth the extra drive. Stayed over night with our dog and loved it, definitely can recommend and will be back hopefully soon xx

Fantasic friendly atmosphere and staff. Brilliant beer garden. We tend to go hear as a treat and tend to dine. The restaurant has a modern twist with traditional food. You must try their scotch egg 🥚 as a starter. Love this place 😁🥂 10/10.

Excellent varied food and Gorgeous interior and a spectacular selection of wines on offer. I took my team (very fussy eaters) for a evening out, very friendly welcoming and never felt rushed. User

Second stay at The Knotley Arms...lovely Coach House fabulous room with a four poster bed..spotless clean and lovely garden and new extension. Owner extremely pleasant and knowledgeable..disappointed with breakfast..no fruit or yogurts.. sausage bland, bacon thick cut and very dry. Dinner second evening very very disappointing...neither Fine Dining..Gastro ...more like a Lite bite at £17!!! ...no more than a teaspoon of Savoy Cabbage...two small lumps of Chicken and a swirl of mashed potatoand no taste...complained to the young guy serving who said he was sorry about that..did I want to order a pudding. ? I needed a pudding as I was starving...the previous evening we had a super main at The Castle Dunster which was £10 And fabulous!!! Scrambled egg and toast was good this morning but still no fruit or yogurts. Probably stay at The Lutterell Arms next time..their breakfast is to die for .

User

My Partners food was ok but mine was disgusting. When I told the waitress she said "oh dear" with a big smile! It was expensive and we were even charged for the fruit in our drinks (gin&tonic ) certainly would not recommend. It's the only time in my life I've had to leave a restaurant with an empty stomach and a hefty bill.

User

Food was OK, nothing to shout about, couldn't even get the bread roll correct!!, wasn't very impressed with the 10% service charge you just add to the bill at the end, what's that about!!!! Won't be returning! Funny that my husband put a similar review & you've deleted it???!!
