What an amazing little gem of a find this was. Fantastic location and setting. I stayed for a week in the beautifully converted spacious courtyard suite. The service was incredible and a huge thankyou to Fiona and Gerard for their outstanding hospitality and making me feel so welcome and going out of their way to make sure I didn't want for anything.

The food was spectacular and I have happily gained a few pounds with Gerard's breakfasts and Fiona's dinners. DELICIOUS.

I highly recommend staying and eating here. I know I will stay here when I next return to Ireland.

What a lovely place. The staff are helpful and friendly and the afternoon tea is beautiful. My friend had a dairy free afternoon tea which was gorgeous too. Thank you

User

Went for afternoon tea yesterday with my Mum, sister's and daughter because someone had recommended it to us. We were not disappointed. Beautiful old house, very comfortable and the staff were lovely. Plenty of tea, the sandwiches were so tasty. Lots of lovely pastry's. Such a relaxing afternoon. Would definitely recommend this to everyone who loves afternoon tea

User

Went for afternoon tea and it was lovely. Very friendly staff and very accommodating of my diary free requirements. Will definitely be back!!

User

We stayed two nights last week to attend a wedding nearby and could not have been more impressed. The welcome and hospitality was wonderful, the food was amazing and the room was lovely (and the bed was the comfiest we've ever found away from home). We couldn't have been better looked after or more accommodated and we're trying hard to think up reasons to need to return to this part of Ireland so we can stay here again!

Took my friend to Oranmore tearooms for Afternoon Tea as her birthday treat. The antiques around the room, the embroidered tablecloths and the mismatched china create a wonderful ambience....just like stepping back in time to a more gentile era. The food presented in dainty portions was delightful from the little cup of pea and fennel soup (so delicious!), the finger sandwiches, the little scones fresh from the oven with jam and cream to an amazing selection of sweet treats. The staff were friendly and attentive. We've had Afternoon Tea in various venues, all delightful, but Oranmore definitely has the edge!! Couldn't recommend Oranmore Tearooms highly enough. Looking forward to our next visit.

There’s no nicer place to be than Oranmore! It’s so relaxing, no background music to annoy you. Just a lovely ambience to enjoy your company. The staff are so attentive without being intrusive, and Jim in particular is always so lovely. The food is absolutely first class- every time. It truly is perfectly prepared to your taste and nothing is too much bother. Cannot recommend this stunning setting enough. Whether it’s afternoon tea with the ladies, lunch with your partner, or dinner with a group of friends- Oranmore is the place to go! ***** stars

My wife and I have spent 5 nights staying at Oranmore Guesthouse and Tea rooms to attend a wedding and to discover Northern Ireland and we have had a truly wonderful stay. The owners, Gerard and Fiona, alongside their staff, were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. They went out their way to accommodate our vegan dietary requirements down to little touches like the mini soya milk pots left in our room. We really enjoyed our breakfasts every day, freshly made and with home grown produce where possible. The evening meal we had was delicious and good value for money. The accomodation was wonderful. We stayed in the suite in the lodge at the back of the guest house and it was really comfortable, warm, decorated and furnished to a top standard, well equipped and spotlessly clean. They went out their way to ensure our stay was perfect with kind touches like driving us from the guest house to a local hotel where we were attending a wedding reception. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Oranmore as somewhere to stay if you're lucky enough to to visit Northern Ireland.

My husband and I had a beautiful meal here this evening. Such a lovely setting. When we first arrived we were seated in a small bar area with an open fire and this is where we perused the menu and placed our order. We were then taken into the dining room and served our starters. Food was delicious. The fillet steak was outstanding and the food was piping hot. Sticky toffee pudding is a must! Service was 1st class. This was our first time at the Oranmore and we will be sure to return. Hidden gem right on our doorstep! Highly recommend.

I stayed here on Saturday 1st July along with two friends for a wedding in the Tullyglass. We stayed in the Annex/converted barn which was really lovely ~ clean, fresh, en-suites to both bedrooms, tea and coffee, hairdryer, towels, toiletries and lovely decor. The lady owner left us over to the wedding reception, and her husband I was awake to let us in in the small hours! We enjoyed a delicious home cooked Irish breakfast this morning.

Thank you for the warm welcome. The Oranmore is a great place to stay, you won't be disappointed.

I brought my mum for afternoon tea yesterday as a birthday present. It was my second visit and her first. We both loved it. The food was lovely and the service was great. My mum asked for a few changes to the menu and it was no trouble, they were very accomodating. The house is absolutely beautiful too. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely family lunch today. Kids were made to feel extremely welcome and they had a great time playing in the garden. The food was beautiful and the service was excellent. A little hidden gem.

Came over for a friends wedding and my wife and I were extremely fortunate to have stayed in such a beautiful place. The owners, Fiona & Gerard, are so lovely along with a full team of friendly and capable staff. Took care of any dietary requirements. Honestly couldn't do enough for you. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone who fancies a stay in Northern Irelands beautiful town of Ballymena, Antrim.
