Our Takeaway and Collection service was a hit! We managed to sell out by 8:30 on Saturday evening. Id like to mention that all our food is freshly made to order and we don't stockpile or freeze so we only have limited numbers of each menu item. To avoid disappointment why not pre-order your food next weekend?

What a great little find. Had lunch here today, and I highly recommend it. The food is made to order, and so tasty. The service is fantastic. Such a homely feel to the place. Nothing seems to be too much. Will will back.

Went here for lunch today. Opted for the afternoon tea for 2.. All i can say is wow. Soup, chunky chips, selection of open sandwiches, ( on lovely fresh cut bread) crisps, coleslaw, Scones, choice of cakes ( we were given 2 :) ) and choice of drinks. Could have easily been enough for 4. Would definitely reccommend. Thank you for our lovely and very filling lunch.

Was taken here today by my daughter who won the competition for afternoon tea for 2 , well what can I say apart from it was absolutely amazing from the homemade French onion soup and triple cooked chips to the open sandwiches -3 different sorts, crisps, home-made coleslaw, scone & cream and 2 different cakes to finish ( we had to bring these home as we were too full) Everything is sourced locally and freshly made, I certainly think it is well worth the money & We are both now planning return visits to this hidden gem & will definitely recommend Oscar's to all our friends.

Visited here today for first time for afternoon tea. Absolutely delicious. The soup was splendid and chips were out of this world as was the rest of the tea. It even beat me so had to take the carrot cake home in a box. Excellent food and excellent service . I would 100% recommend this place and I will Definately be visiting again .

Stunning food - my second meal at Oscars - amazing food - well what you pay for. I have become a convert of Eggs Benedict!!

Oscars outstanding! Me and my partner visited today and we were both extreamerly happy from start to finish. Great to find a cafe with a lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome. My latte was very nice and the food was amazing. Me and my partner shared home made scotch egg with tomarto chutney and the pulled pork on toast with melted cheese. We also got a side of homemade chips with homemade GARLIC MAYO! Which is to die for. This place is seriously on another level and so reasonably priced you have to try it. You won't be disappointed!

Me and mum came here as we wanted to try somewhere new and heard good things about this little gem. It didn't disappoint! Fresh and tasty food and love the rustic look to the food We will definitely be going back! Gentleman was lovely too :)

Just held my daughters baby shower here and was fabulous. Food all home made was delicious especially the sausage rolls �nothing too much trouble, the place was spotless too . Thank you so much will highly recommend ��

Highly recommended to all, these guys have been understanding and accommodating whilst I had a 'mare with one of me bairns on Friday night resulting in a rushed trip up to A&E for the night. My friend and I were meant to be attending the steak night but obviously all our plans went out of the window when the accident happened - not only did Oscars understand - they delivered our food to my home address so we had a beautiful 3 course dinner to look forward to when we finally came home - they even knocked us a third off the bill �!!! There's so many reasons to support small local establishments - these guys really do go above & beyond. Thank you so much. We will be in soon to finally meet you in the flesh and sample some more of your lovely food �� Excellent � X

Had pulled pork burger and chunky chips with garlic/peppers absolutely gorgeous ,proper food non of this processed burgers etc , definitely will be going there again give it a try �

Had Afternoon Tea here today with the girls.... like a little hidden gem behind the Market Vaults. Cosy, intimate and the best triple cooked chips ever! Definitely worth a visit; really varied, unusual menu and great service. It’s a small restaurant, which gives it an exclusive feel, like you have stumbled across a secret. Prices are extremely reasonable and the only downside, for me, was lack of internet/phone signal but maybe that’s a good thing: a place to truly unwind, geographically and digitally hidden from the stress of the world! Reminded me of the trendy little hidden places in London, where only those in the know go. Can’t wait to go for Brunch & try the rarebit or the Eggs Benedict.

Fantastic place great atmosphere lovely hosts, but even better was the food, the chef is ridiculously talented, went for the Valentines themed evening and all expectations were exceeded couldn't recommend it anymore my new favourite place to eat full stop.

Decided to try Oscars tea room as a friend had recommended it.

We chose mixed platter, lovely fresh local food. Very tasty. Left with very full happy tummies.

Tried the Gluten free quiche too, very nice.

Well worth the visit.

Came in for lunch today with my friend. The food was fantastic and how wonderful that everything in the menu has a gluten free option. The cafe had a fab feel to it and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend a visit.

Came here today for some lunch with my partner, deffiantly a hidden treasure. I got a warm scotch egg and my partner got pulled pork on fresh toasted bread and then we shared chips and garlic mayo! Everything was so tasty and good price too! Deffiantly recommend! Staff were lovely too!!

Amazing ... food was perfect all fresh home made and gluten free .... finally I feel I can go out for food and feel safe knowing I am not going to get ill great choice of menu and great on prices with friendly staff we will be returning to work our way through the rest of the menu starting with that scotch egg
