Pitter Patter Day Nursery

The Shining Stars Room have been busy making chocolate nests, they shredded up the shredded wheat, mixed in the chocolate and then scooped it into cupcake cases. They then placed little eggs in their nests, they look yummy!! The Shining Stars haven't let this bad weather stop them from getting a bit of fresh air and playing out in the garden. We love our indoor-outdoor room, it lets us play outside even when it is raining🤗🌦🌧🤗

🐑🐑This week in the Twinkle Stars room the young farmers have had a hearty breakfast before rounding up the 'balloon sheep' and putting them safe in their sheep pen.🐑🐑

This week we have been learning about how we need to exercise to keep our bodies and minds healthy. The shining stars have been dancing to busy feet and doing an obstacle course.

This week the babies and tots have been exploring fruit and vegetables as part of our Healthy Me theme, they have been printing with different fruit and exploring the plastic fruit and vegetables in the tuff spot.😍🤩

Last week some of the older children cleared all the old flowers and weeds out of our tyre planters ready for this years plants and flowers. Some of the children planted seeds and some have planted some bits of carrot to see if they will grow or if they will turn to compost to help our new plants grow.🤔🤔

The babies have also had lots of fun this week celebrating Pancake and World Book Day.😍🤩

We have had fun this week celebrating World Book Day, we have had lots of fun reading different books and doing activities, including The Ginger Bread Man, 3 Little Pigs, We are going on a Bear Hunt, Betsan and Ben and many more. We also enjoyed dressing up as our favourite character from our books.

On Tuesday we had lots of fun making pancakes and messy play with pancake ingredients. We sung the song: Mix a pancake, stir a pancake, pop it in the pan, fry a pancake, toss a pancake catch it if you can.

Just a quick reminder, it's World Book Day tomorrow. Children and Staff will be dressing up as their favourite book characters and we will be reading loads of our favorite books in Pitter Patter.

This is my little girls first month at pitter patter and I honestly couldn't recommend it enough. All the staff are so lovely and Isla always comes home so happy. Thank you to all the girls that care and look after my little one

Our 3 yr old daughter has attended Pitter Patter Day Nursery for the past 18 months and we could not recommend the nursery and the staff highly enough. They are dedicated, caring, nurturing and encouraging and the daily verbal and written feedback is excellent. We found this a huge help when monitoring our daughters food intake and toilet habits. All activities are carefully planned following a specific theme that encourages the children to hit their milestones. We loved the parents evenings as we got the chance to look at the positives and could identify anything that needed extra work on at home. Staff are very thorough and vigilant when it comes to health, safety and safeguarding. The menu and meals given at Pitter Patter are excellent, they are freshly cooked and very nutritious, our daughter was renowned for asking for seconds most days. We will miss the staff and management greatly but our daughter has been encouraged to gain all the required skills that she needs to start nursery school. Many thanks again, there really aren't enough words X

My daughter loves it at Pitter Patter. The staff are fantastic and they do loads of different activities with the children. She has learned a lot from going there and it is great for her confidence.

Fabulous nursery, highly recommended!

Both my son's have loved pitter patter, very homely and the girls are all fab! Great choice of activities and food keeping them entertained, busy, healthy and most importantly happy
