Wonderful food and service. Food out in less than 10 minutes despite it being a very busy Saturday night.

User

Very enjoyable visit fantastic range of beers we had a coupled burgers which were delicious & good value good staff offered us a taste of the real ales before we bought a full pint well done Weatherspoon’s potters wheel

User

Staff were extremely friendly. I enquired about soya milk, they went to check their stock unfortunately they had none available on this occasion but I appreciated that they went looking.

My son had a child's breakfast and it was enough for him (he's 8), I had small vegetarian breakfast and again the portion was decent. Aswell as being a decent portion size the price was very reasonable, quality was good also.

This was our first visit and we will be visiting again (annual visit for the panto in Swansea grand :) )

User

Quick service and amazing food would recommend to anybody to go to the potters wheel very quiet no screaming children so can eat and drink in peace

Go to Potters Wheel at least once a week and haven't got anything bad to say, always a good laugh to watch all locals making fools out of themselves. I include a list:

1. June - can never miss her and her Diet Coke being a right party animal.

2. Moira - can often find her on one of the seats shaking herself to death, attempting to watch TV, asking for a "faaaaaaaaag" and not purchasing anything the whole time she is there.

3. Russel - he went to Holland once.

4. Roy - got those Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur.

I recommend it for a good night out!

Although I came in expecting a pile of slop on a plate I was pleasantly surprised to find that was what I was actually getting. After hearing from posh and necks on the table next to us that their rice was sticky and their curry wasn’t as if Heston Blue-Menthols had seductively dipped the chicken in 7.m breakfast cereals and served it with a wiz bang I was quite disappointedly after all this is what you expect at SPOONS! On the arrival of our food we discovered that Heston had not caressed our dishes with the care and attention of a Michelin kitchen. On the whole the staff were top, sorted any problems that occurred (apart from a burnt bhaji there were none)

The Maitre d was working tirelessly to handle all the reservations and despite the furious pre theatre rush all customer’s other than posh and necks were enjoying. We will really enjoy the opera.

Well the Potters Wheel on the Kingsway it's been years since iv been to the Kingsway once Swansea hotspot. Went out on Sunday for a drink and once you enter the Potters Wheel great prices for drinks infact on a pint there a 1.40£ difference from the place I was drinking before that which is a quarter 25% that hell of a difference if out on the raz all day that 1 free pint every 3 you have also the food on a Sunday was very convenient considering I didn't get there until 4.30 and with the all day brunch was reasonably priced and comes with an alcoholic drink if your an alcoholic obviously not if your eating is a great option. The potters wheel was once a regular haunt for me inbetween probation meetings and AA meetings seemed those days was the only benefit but must say how wrong was I? It has something for every working and non working man. As for the staff they were responsive but i wouldn't go as far as saying welcoming but hey at 2.25£ a pint what more do you want! Anyone who is on a tight budget but enjoys having a social drink and maybe a bit food I d say 69% maybe a tad higher through out the weekdays are alcoholics saying that there respect alcoholics not down and outs I was once a down and out and it's nothing but misery but coming back back there after a 2 half years jail sentence I feel the place is what you make it don't expect to much but also have a bit of expectation and i s AY it's a place for every one just don't make it too much of regular thing use don't abuse and this can actually turn out to be the Taj Mahal of Swansea you must visit this place at least a dozen times a year anymore than that then you want go see your Dr. Any one visit this place out Swansea please don't be put off because there is a gentleman club about a 5 minute walk from the pub so rest assure if you don't pull in there there always last resort.

Lovely pub. Very friendly. We got our food served immediately & very nice too. Only thing I would say is my fella in a wheelchair at present & tables very close to disabled loo which made things a bit awkward to get in there. But apart from that a great place to eat

User

I always enjoy my meal, very good value for money and very tasty xx

User

Friendly staff quick service food as you would expect in a Wetherspoons.

At the Potters Wheel last night, just got a fresh drink placed on the table, I turned my head to look at my phone for a second, and some scum bag stole my ! Grr. A few minuets later a young man collecting glasses approached our table, I asked if this was a regular occurrence at the Potters Wheel ? he said no, he asked what drink was taken and went straight to the bar and got me a replacement. Didn't get his name, but well done to that member of your staff .

User

Service was a chore, waiting at one end of the bar while all staff congregated at other end serving people after us had to go to other side and mention this fact also one staff obviously didn't want to be there in the way they served

User

Myself and my partner popped in, 1st impression but scruff, but we had drinks and food all was good, my partner had the pie and I had the curry can’t fault it

User

Great pub

Lovely staff but the toilets let the pub down

The ladies are awful

More often than not there is no toilet paper as half the toilet roll holders are broken

But the staff still sign the check sheet that’s all’s ok

User

Went for breakfast dirty table to start with then breakfast came all looked deep fried black pudding was hard and crisp sausages greasy beans over cooked and tomatoes burnt would not recommend this place

User

First time here, well understaffed, loads of tables left not cleared, mixed up my order with someone elses. I mean 1 standard breakfast how can you get that wrong, but for my table brought 2 of them. Cant blame the staff though as there seemed to be only two of them on and way too much for them to cope with. So for first visit not impressed.

Last night I come to Wetherspoon's the Potter's wheel. I had the lamb shank meal and when it was served to me it was stone cold in the middle so they took it back and made me another one and the second time It come out it was exactly the same freezing cold in the middle I ask member of staff to feel it and he also said it was Stone Cold I wasn't happy I left without having my dinner. I've come back tonight to give it another go and I had a side of half rack of ribs and they to come out stone cold both meals are cooked in a microwave why should they be stone cold all you have to do is push buttons it is not hard cooking. not happy and I will be leaving that feedback with the head office.
