Was taken there yesterday by friends we had the carvery just wanted to say it was the best we have had in a long time, everything was spot on .. my only regret was that I was so full I didn’t get to sample the desserts, they looked delicious so will be back..

SHHHHH, dont tell tomany peope about this hide away place with absolutly amazing deserts, so even though the mains are scrummy, make sure you leave some room.

Our first visit to this lovely place but it won't be the last. Called in today for a breakfast, on our way home to Wales after a weekend break and it didn't disappoint. Great freshly cooked food and friendly staff. And of course we bought some cider from the shop to enjoy at home �

My friends and I have just been in for carvery and it was wonderful..... The food was top notch with tasty meat, potatoes and a home made Yorkshire pudding.. the veg were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend Rich's to anyone. Thank you for a fab experience. �

Have been meaning to come here for a while, so yesterday we called in for breakfast. Very impressed, the food was freshly cooked and great quality. Friendly staff and a great country kitchen setting. We will be back for more.

Great visit yesterday and great service. Took the kids after school and despite the fact they had finished serving food they still went out of their way to make the things the kids wanted. Great. 2 happy children.

Great stuff. The food was lovely and the waiter guy went out of his way to sort out my pudding thingy. Nice surroundings and a little museum as well as a gift shop. Thank you...�

My husband and I took my parents here today to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. He loves a good roast. Everyone I talked to about this venue told me how good it was. I was also told that you must reserve a table.

We have had many carvery meals over the years and this was one of the best we have had!! Small venue and staff looked after us well. Every table was reserved and it was soon full. My husband had a burger and that was amazing. Perfect chips. Well done Rich’s. We will be back again and again now that we have been!

I would only add that Rich’s should consider a larger porch or entrance hall. We were not seated by the door but if we were it would not have been as enjoyable as very cold out and it was busy so the door was open a lot.

The carvery is the best I have had anywhere in the country! Staff where helpful to a point. In the past I have had table service for the carvery as I have trouble with walking. When I asked this time I was told it was no longer available. Hubbie ended up doing two plates and carrying them. Then having to go back on a couple of occasions as he forgot things like gravy! I also saw one of the male waiters smoking an ecigerrette at the kitchen door then he took it with him to the coffee making area where he dropped it on the floor.

Great food, great atmosphere just a little slow ,but they were busy so I will let them off

Visited today after booking a table. Only one other couple in when we arrived. They left shortly after having already eaten their food. It is obvious that customers buying from the carvery get preferential treatment. We ordered off the menu, two steak burgers and chips and a beef baguette. All the customers; of which there were a few; who ordered from the carvery where served way before us. We waited over 20 minutes for our food. The burgers had either been overcooked, or left standing as the were as dry as toast.. Been here many times before, but I am afraid never again.

Won't return as they do not allow dogs which most other cider farms have no problem with
