Get away from the rush of modern life and come and relax in our cosy detached cottage for two in the stunning Welsh countryside. Robin Cottage is in a peaceful and tranquil setting 5 miles from pretty Lampeter and 4 miles from Tregaron. Both towns offer a range of amenities, including shopping, pubs and restaurants.
We are perfectly located as a base for walking, horseriding, birdwatching, golf and fishing. Cors Caron Nature Reserve is nearby and this peatbog is home to an abundance of bird and wildlife including the Red Kite. The Reserve is ideal for a relaxing walk but for something more challenging you can walk in the undiscovered Cambrian Mountains, one of the few areas in Wales where you can walk all day and hardly see a soul.
The many attractions nearby include Devils Bridge Gorge, Rheidol Valley Railway, Strata Florida Abbey, Gold and Silver Mines, and scenic drives, one of which is listed in the top ten scenic drives in the world. We are only 10 miles from Cardigan Bay with its quaint villages of New Quay and Aberaeron. Bottle nosed dolphins, porpoises and seals populate the Bay. Wildlife trips are available throughout the spring and summer.
