Rumours Hair Salon – Our Team
We like to think we are a friendly and welcoming bunch here at Rumours Hair Salon. We work hard to create our clients dream hairstyles, but we also make sure that our clients feel welcome from the minute they step in the door, and love their hair long after they leave our salon.
Our friendly team includes Ally, Bev and Emily.
Ally
Salon Manager and Artistic Director
Ally is our Salon Manager and Style Director.
Ally has been with us around 5 years and is an asset to the team. Ally previously worked at two of the most successful salons in Peterborough before joining us and has been able to bring this experience, knowledge and passion to our hair salon in Sawtry.
Ally adores watching Keeping up with the Kardashians, and her favourite film is The Little Mermaid – matched with pizza and salad and you have Ally’s favourite combo for a great night in!
Bev- Creative Director
Bev is our longest serving team member and she is our fabulous Creative Director, she has been with us over 25 years and is a familiar face for many of our regular clients. Bev specialises in creating looks for our clients that having them jumping for joy. Bev has an honest and loyal approach so you know you’re getting the right cut and colour for your hair when you’re sat with Bev.
Bev loves hairdressing because she enjoys making people feel good about them. Her clients often ask if they can employ her as their very own personal hairdresser – take her out for a meal at a Thai Restaurant or a Steak House and she might think about it!
Emily- Salon Assistant
Emily joined our team of hairdressers in Sawtry as a Salon Assistant in 2018. Emily is really helpful around the salon and is a huge asset to the team. Emily will always go that extra mile to make sure our clients feel welcome from the second they walk in.
Emily also has a brilliant claim to fame, her granddad was in I’m A Celeb – you’ll have to ask her who her Grandad is though! Emily would love to get her hands on Lana Del Rey’s hair as it is really amazing and long.

Our style Director, Miranda’s top tip is: “Try and limit yourself to washing your hair just two or three times a week as this will help prevent it from drying out in the cold. This minimises the amount of heat styling in your routine, which can be extremely harsh on the hair, especially in during the winter months”
