My children really wanted to have lunch and they loved it. It was very busy but they apologised for the wait and the food was lovely. Lots of customers were commenting on how nice the food was and the cafe was very clean.x

User

Very good service, friendly polite staff, clean tables can't not fault anythink

User

Usually stop there for breakfast about three times a month. Can't fault it to be honest. Well cooked. Staff generally are great, happy and helpful.

The place is usually reasonably busy and they look like repeat customers so I'm guessing not everyone moans about the food!!

User

Sainsburys Hankridge is fine, and staff have always been helpful in my experience. The bakery's choc/hazelnut croissants are delicious and way better than similar Costa/Starbucks offerings.....!

One whinge would be that the stacking of shelves causes logjams and we sometimes think judging by their body language that staff feel that customers are intruding...

7am yesterday there were at least half a dozen staff and stock trolleys in the veg section let alone elsewhere - surely this could be done before the store opens? it's always ongoing during the day, but first thing?

User

As long as they keep stocking chicken penang bites at the deli counter i'm happy. Can you bring back the taramasalata with smoked salmon please, I miss that. The free Wi-Fi is a useful service. I've managed to collect £17 worth of nectar points, but have no idea how to spend them..lol

User

Went in restaurant a week ago , no jacket potatoes sold out and couldn't order breakfast as not in time limit so ordered ham egg and chips it was very nice ...went in again couldn't order jacket potatoe as 10 minutes out of time limit so ordered a big breakfast and scrambled egg must say you call that a big breakfast on child size plates also sausages weren't cooked enough and the scrambled egg had two table spoon size in portion with two thick doorsteps of bread again portion size very small

The wait for the food is so long won't be going back in a hurry tbh

By time the food came I had drank my pot of tea so felt I needed another pot to go with meal

Waiting time is to long and it wasn't particularly busy

User

Popped into the Store and my husband and I thought we might have some lunch. Proceeded to pour our Diet Pepsi's and to order lunch to be told that there is a 30 minute wait. Could not understand this as the restaurant was not busy at all. If there had been a notice up to say of the delay we would not have had drinks. I noticed that there were a few more customers walking out because of this.

User

Last Monday lunchtime I dropped my phone at the petrol station. At 4.00 pm it hadn't been handed in, 10.20 pm my husband got a call to say the had it. Phoned Wednesday to say when I'd pick it up (presume they still had it). Sunday a friend called in to collect it and no-one knew anything about it. Customer services can't help. I am less than impressed and would have been even more annoyed had I made the 150 mile round trip to collect it!

User

I. Don't understand this. Store customer logic, they seem to think just having, 2 /3 tills operating is enough well for the size of store and taunton population it is totally unacceptable,

User

What a shame !! I purchased a Sainsbury's Banoffi pie yesterday and we were supposed to eat it for supper, and were quite excited about until I plated it up !!

It was disgusting, awful the bananas had a sour and it was inedible...I would have bought it back to the store if it wasn't for the fact we live an hour away from the store.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Unhappy Sainsbury's customer.

User

Waited 30 mins for mine and my three sons lunch.

Was served burnt nuggets, burnt chips, stringy ham, hard peas, and snotty eggs

For £20!

Not the best place to eat, and the staff needed replacing

User

Not impressed with the online delivery service where I had to go and collect my shopping because the driver apparently thought I was out! Oh! When he did call before the end of his shift he had already returned to the store and thus my shopping would have stayed there until the next day. Previously loyal customer now shopping elsewhere.

User

Just bought a bag of sweets from Sainsbury's Hankridge (Gourmet Sweets of London, Candy Kittens) once I got home I opened the bag & whist I was happily munching away I glanced at the ingredients & I nearly chocked on that first sweet 'HALAL' beef gelatine, the bag & its contents is now in the bin! I know it's not a Sainsbury's own product but why are they selling products that contain unnecessary Halal ingredients. I'm extremely disappointed in Sainsbury's now!!

User

I don't think I've ever been so insulted in my life! At the check out I handed the cashier a £50 note. He then preceded to make a real meal of checking its authenticity. I respect the fact they have to, a little rub of the pen is acceptable and expected. But to mock me and insult me is not the correct way, telling me 'that mark came up' no my love that was already there!! I don't ever think I've been so insulted..so congratulations Sainsbury's I shall no longer be shopping with you, and will proceed to tell all about my belittling experience. Disgusting.

User

I Bought a fresh chicken a week ago.. got home to cook it for lunch to find it was half frozen! This week I bought Turkey steaks come home to cook them, These were also half frozen! I took them back to the store ... spoke to the store manager she told me she was aware of the problem and waiting for someone to fix it! so why carrying on using the fridge!?

It a good job I didn't decide to freeze these meats at a later date.

User

Dont bother with the cafe if you want a quick.breakfast. The staff musy be getting back handers off the company that issue fines to overstayers!. Wife's plate had dried tomato seeds on it, impressive achievement for a ham and cheese omelette! Continues to poor standards I've had from most Sainsbury's cafes..

User

Don't bother shopping if you have a baby and need to use the facilities, the baby changing room is just for baby, the main toilets are either out of service or dirty and the disabled are even worse, the response from customer service is "we used to have a toilet in baby changing" , or my favourite line "can't you leave your baby whilst you use the wc" no thanks Sainsburys ill go elsewhere from now on

User

Came in at 9.55pm on Tuesday 10th July with a very urgent prescription to fulfill, with my poorly husband in the car having been sent by Musgrove Park Hospital who let us go so we would have chance to catch your pharmacy before it closed only to be turned away by the manager with no explanation as to why you had closed up early! Clearly your opening times can’t be relied on!
