Personalised wedding cakes are so much fun. I love making them. This cake shows the bride rock climbing up the side of her cake to reach her groom (a rugby fan) and son. I loved making the little dress and the little coat hanger☺️ @thegreattythebarn

Marble fondant effects are popular this summer for wedding cake designs. This cake has marble with gold touches and semi naked tiers. All set up at the wonderful Matara Centre.

I had the pleasure of delivering this smart birthday cake to The Ivy in Bath this week. I love Art Deco. Hidden behind the black icing was red velvet cake, what a great contrast. The pattern was painstakingly hand cut and carefully applied then came to job of painting it. My lovely husband sat patiently with the edible gold paint, you need a steady hand and patience for that job :) <3

I loved making this happy memory family cake. All the side decorations were made from pastillage and handpiped and the books and mortar board were made from toffee and mars bar rice krispie cake. YUM! Happy Sunday.xx <3

I really like it when other hobbies inspire my wedding cake design. After a good sort out of my craft boxes I came across a length of ric rac trim, left over from a past sewing project. I love ric rac, It's so pretty and I thought I must be able to make this in sugar. So here it is, a wedding cake inspired by my sewing box, complete with stitch embossed sugar ric rac, tiny handmade sugar buttons and handcrafted summer sugar flowers and berries <3
