Five star luxury within a traditional seaside setting, Beach Hut 1 enjoys possibly the finest beach side location in the popular village of Shaldon, Devon. Packed with personal touches, the most spacious accommodation of all the beach huts provides a fully equipped luxury kitchen with oven, fridge and ceramic hob set in beautiful granite worktops. Comfortable seating for 4 , breakfast table , Free-view, satellite TV /DVD player are found in the living area. The upper mezzanine sleeping area with top quality double futon bed, or the additional double sized sofa-bed on the ground floor provides sleeping for 2 - 4 adults or children. Natural stone tiled shower room features shower, w. c. and wash basin, Travertine tiled flooring throughout with luxury underfloor heating. Free Wi-Fi available. Bi-fold patio doors lead to the large sunny terrace with patio furniture including didning table with parasol and seating for four, from here direct access to the beach is provided through the beach hut's own, private gate. Parking for one vehicle is included.

This really is a fantastic, unique place to stay, with incredible views and a very helpful owner. The beach hut is so well equiped and very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
Such an amazing place to stay. Having read reviews on trip advisor, booked 2 nights for hubbys birthday. I had high expectations, and I wasnt disappointed. The hut was perfect, lots of high quality items and lovely personal touches, such as wine, chocolate santa, good coffee, and a christmas tree. Thank you for a fab stay, we will be back xxxx

Perfect getaway with a lovely view. On the beach but your own space. Beautifully done out and well equipped, nothing we needed that wasn't there. Nice touch of card and goodies on arrival ⛵️

Our first time .. We will be back !! The beach hut is adorable cosy and unique .. Enjoyed waking up every morning to the sound of seagulls.. Opening the patio to the beach and seeing our kids enjoy the great outdoors ... Everything you need is in the beach hut ... October as been a lovely time to visit .. Having the patio doors open taking in the sea air ...at night tucked up all cozy and warm ..... Our children aged 15 and 10 have loved it .. Seeing them get up early to go crabbing and walk up the beach .. Calling for hot chocolate at the clipper cafe instead of being on their phones as been very pleasurable too !!!! Thank you x

Just returned from a wonderful long weekend at Beach Hut No.1. A surprise for my partners 50th and to say she was overwhelmed would be an understatement. We both had the most wonderful time and staying there was just amazing and unique.
And Shaldon....what can I say...a real find and gem of a place. Fantastic food (particular mention for "The Strand") and brilliant bars and walks on the beach and the Wildlife Centre.
Can't praise it all enough. Will definitely be back in the new year.

There was a lovely Birthday hamper waiting for me when I arrived and had a lovely welcome/ happy birthday from the owner. This beach hut was perfect for a little get away and will certainly be coming again. Thank you for a amazing birthday break !
