We came to bath for 3 days. On the second night we came here. We had a free drink on arrival, amazing food, great music, and most of all the staff were friendly, bubbly, polite and helpful. We had an amazing night and returned the next day for breakfast. Fabulous place. Will defiantly be returning next time were in bath

The new S&L is stunning and all the service was beyond amazing! Who can complain about great service with great food and drink to accompany it!

I booked a cocktail making session & buffet for a hen party we arrived and were all shown to a private reserved area with a welcome glass of bubbly. We were introduced to Ryan who took our class and was very upbeat and chatted well with all 14 ladies changing spirits where needed for people's preference . We then all received a shot again alternatives where provided where needed with out any fuss . We were then shown to another reserved table of an amazing buffet . Highly recommend

Absolutely gorgeous bar - came for dry runs after the refurb and the food and cocktails were amazing! Loved all the staff they were fab! Thank you for a brilliant night �

Thanks for our free meal in exchange for feedback on the venue on your training day, think you slightly lucked out when you turned away celeb Ritchie Neville from the band 5ive for not having a booking though�

Good and love the music but use cash only! I had my details stolen from the card machine in this place so just don’t get too drunk or use card �

Busy Saturday evening, waited an hour for food. However, manager Joe that dealt with our table/complaint was fantastic. Cannot thank him enough. An absolute credit to the venue!

Was very busy and we were told about the wait for food before we ordered. Food was nice, and did come out after about 40 minutes. I had a steak panini and it was lovely. Husband had scampi - he was a bit disappointed as there wasn’t much scampi. They were clearly short staffed and had two people serving a very large area. I would go back, the toilets however are to be avoided. 😬

I was very disappointed that you had advertisements right above the bar & a very large poster at that- for fizz Friday-yet was told to read the small print on the menu where it states that the offer is not on in the run up to Christmas. Seems slightly wrong to still have posters up advertising an offer that’s not on offer!!! Please enlighten me??

First time for me. Just arrived from USA My friends invited me for a drink. The time spend waiting to be served at the bar is unbearable. You need to do something about that

Very busy, waited about 20 mins at bar, plenty of bar staff but could do with some staff just doing cocktail orders only as this is what holds it up. Not the fault of the staff tho they were working very hard.

Wish I'd read the reviews before going here! Was told there was a 45 mins to an hour wait for food because they were short staffed....ok, but tell me that before you've taken my order, my money and served me a drink! Yes it was a Saturday but 2.45pm, should be after the lunch rush. The place was dirty, with serviettes scattered across the floor and had to ask a waitress to clean the table for me. Food came after 40mins and had to be sent back as it was cold, more food came but wish I hadn't bothered, barely edible. On the way out I stoped to use the facilities only to be be greeted with an open sanitary/nappy bin with a broken lid. I'll leave that description there 🤑 There is a S&L in the town I live, which is really nice so hoped for better. If there had been a nil point I would have given it. 😞

We ate at the bath restaurant and really wish we hadn’t. This place is rubbish for food. Absolute rubbish. Avoid it like the plague. I’d list all the things wrong with our meal, but I just don’t have the space. The mains were soaked in oil. Three of the four mains were inedible. There’s not much more to be said. Just avoid the Bath slug and lettuce.

Upon first every thing seemed fine but then. music was turned up to the max, so we couldn't even have a conversation with the person next to you. They messed you up the food order completely it took an hour to get mains after the starters. When the food came out it was Stone cold. Would completely and actively avoid coming here for food, anyone reading this please do take note..... Fucking appalling service!! Never again. Piss poor quality!

Pathetic amount of staff who simply could not cope with the amount of customers.

Overcharged at the bar by a muppet who looked about 14 years old. Then the wrong food order came to our table. Won’t be rushing back.

I don't think this establishment deserves even one star but it wouldn't let me put zero. A party of 12 of us and they put us on two

constant fights Kicked off between people and the security more or less sat and just watched them and us as we had leave our seats to avoid being squashed by the sweaty drunk messes. It was more like an illegal back alley rave with a mosh pit in the middle to be frank and is the worst S&L I've ever visited. Certainly wouldn't return.

Have just visited here while away for a friends birthday. Ordered food for all of us, only for it to was delivered to the table next to us. After they had a few mouthfuls, the waitress quickly realised her mistake, took the food from under their noses and put the food straight onto our table. Obviously we sent it back. The food came back out with stone cold chips. We asked for warm chips and they came out 5 minutes after we finished our burgers. Disgusting service.
