Programme of Naval Interest (PONI) - QNLZ Documentary - The BBC are currently planning to air Chris Terrill's three part documentary series on HMS Queen Elizabeth, due to start transmitting on BBC2 at 2000 on Sunday 15th April.
The programme, titled "Britain's Biggest Warship" tracks the ship through build, through to Commissioning as a Royal Navy ship last December. The other two programmes should follow weekly at the same time slot and BBC are going to repeat the series on ...Saturday afternoons on BBC2 (1500- 1600).
CAVEAT: BBC may alter their schedule up to 2 weeks before airing but current intentions are for the programme to air as planned.
ENJOY!

Do you know of any RN & RM Veterans who would benefit from this project for Social Inclusion?
Project Semaphore by The Royal Naval Association (RNA).
Shipmates/Candidates need to complete a Candidate Application Form for an Apple iPad and an Internet Service ( ISP for for First Year ), either return it by post or email.
... In order to qualify Shipmates MUST have:
1. Served in the RN or RM 2. Be aged over 65 3. No regular access to the Internet (this Project is NOT aimed at replacing outdated IT equipment, but getting Shipmates online).
The RNA has issued over 400 Apple iPads and the key to the success of this Project is having IT savvy volunteers willing to visit fellow Shipmates to provide ongoing support, this usually would be the Sponsor on the Candidate Application Form.
Some great success stories at this link to the RNA website: https://www.royal-naval-association.co.uk /a…/case-studies/1/
You do NOT need to be an RNA Member to benefit from the RNA's Project Semaphore.
