We have had a fantastic year with the addition of our Dragonfly safari lodge. Next year we hope to have a natural swimming area to our lake...I will keep you posted with updates when we start.

So this is 'Mayfly'. A mobile unit which is (home) built on a trailer chassis so can be moved anywhere... Can be additional accommodation for Foxglove and Dragonfly sleeping 2 in a very comfortable double or set up separately in a quiet corner somewhere💕 in a field enjoying our stunning views.
Basic washing and porta loo arrangements. (No electric or running water). Small fire pit and BBQ... Decking with solar lights Comfortable, quality bedding for 2 people.
Can be booked on a nightly basis.

So this is our new safari lodge, Dragonfly... sleeps up to 8 comfortably and like Foxglove has a woodburner, shower and flush loo, and all you need to relax and take in the surroundings.

While waiting for our guests to arrive today, I literally stumbled across these fox cubs in the field next to the track. Amazing to see them, only a few weeks old.

We have had a truly amazing season at Somerleaze. Met some great people. We will be doing another tent next year as well as a few surprises to keep you guessing. Watch this space.....

So a quick update on where we are at with Somerleaze. The water pipe has been 'moled' in and is now awaiting connection from Wessex Water, hopefully in the next 2 weeks. Simon is now finishing the plumbing connections so that the tent will have hot and cold running water, a flushing loo, and a functioning kitchen, ... and it looks like we will hopefully be going live with our website next week. Wow! Our first glamping experience & we absolutely love it! Our own meadow, lake & boat! Foxglove is more like a lodge than a tent! Our children have loved it & our dog has too! Thankyou Rosey for such a warm welcome-mason loved his ride in the jeep & we have really enjoyed the home made bread & fresh eggs-we will definitely be back next year!

We had the best weekend here. We stayed in Dragonfly which is beautifully equipped & the children loved the upstairs...paddock it's set in was ideal for the dogs & children to run around in & we all loved the lake & rowing boat. Lovely, friendly host. Can't wait to return!

We had a really lovely few days here. The tent was equipped with all we needed and to boys say the beds were more comfortable than their ones at home! Such a beautiful peaceful spot. Thanks Rosey.

We Had the best weekend here, the accommodation was perfect and had everything we needed, next time we come I will just bring clothing, food and fire lighters as everything you need for a fun family weekend is right there ready for you.



The boat on the lake was a real winner with our children, we all look forward to staying again soon.

Rosey was fantastic. So helpful and such a fantastic meadow and cabins. Our lunch recommendation and walk to Five Dials was great on the Sunday. I will definitely go back and strongly recommend this beautiful get away destinations!
