Welcome back, we hope you had a lovely holiday. Lots of parents are asking about after school clubs.They start next week (the week beginning 10th September). Lists of children who are in clubs are in the office and on the noticeboard on the main playground.

Thank you to those who have already ordered your lunches for next term on parent pay, If you haven't done yours please note that if it is not ordered by the end of today (19/7/18) they will not receive a school lunch in the 1st week back in September. Thank you.

I am delighted to be able to tell you that the final total raised for Cyclists Fighting Cancer - the charity Mrs Sheehan is raising money for is £689.02. Just incredible. Well done and thank you to all. Mrs Ray.

The sun is going to shine all week with high temperatures. Please make sure you are sun safe with your children and they have sun cream applied before school (preferably all day cream) and have a hat, sun cream and water bottles in school. Thank you.

WOW! the school has so far raised an amazing £514 for Mrs Sheehan's charity CFC, lets see if we can raise even more to help the fantastic challenge that they face,

So it is the last day that we are actively raising money to support Mrs Sheehan. The children have been amazing cycling and scooting - not a grumble among them. Please remember to bring your sponsor money in. Mrs Sheehan sent us this message this morning:
I am so proud of the children for their fundraising efforts. Part of the reason I am determined to do this despite all the barriers is them. I hope I am inspiring them to push boundaries and challenge themselves in life. ...If you don't attempt something, you'll never know if you can do it. I feel so mentally strong. I hope the legs hold out with the last set of mountains to come. This is an incredible journey - not just in terms of the landscape, journey and new friends made but really appreciating life; I have so much when others don't. This journey is not over. We have had so much thrown at us, but we are a team and as a team we will complete this. I also know there is a great team back at school who ensuring this week raises funds.

Thought you might like to know that Mrs Sheehan and her team are currently cycling through Colorado. They have completed 1306 miles - only 1794 to go! Their current speed is 20.5mph and it is 3:41am. They have been going for 2 days 18 hours and are completing 358 miles per day. Inspirational...

A real WOW moment - we have raised £300 in just two days for Mrs Sheehan's charity, Cyclists Fighting Cancer. Just brilliant. To help raise more, we are going to see if everyone can buy a wristband so that in Mrs Sheehan's first assembly back we can all hold them up and show her how much we supported her. They are £1 from the stall outside the office. A huge thank you to everyone for your support so far. Mrs Ray

Don't forget non uniform day tomorrow (Monday 18th June). Come dressed as a cyclist or in the kit of a sport you like to do. Please don't forget a donation of money to support Mrs Sheehan's charity, Cyclists Fighting Cancer. I have just realised that we never let you know how much money our incredible children raised when they ran for Sports Relief. Drum roll...... The grand total was £645 - amazing. Well done and a huge thank you to everyone who took part. Special mention to Caleb in Rowan who raised £65, Courtney in Poplar who raised £31.50, Harrison in Oak who raised £37 and Erin and Isla who raised £44. Thank you again, Mrs Ray.
