About Team Causeway

Einstein once said "The definition of Insanity is to continue the do the same things and expect to get different results. " How we train here is different, as are the results. It takes guts to stand out from the crowd; to follow a different path, but sometimes that path is exactly where you need to take your life; to take control for once. At CrossFit Causeway we accommodate individuals, and make everyone feel welcome; you'll feel at home. If you're fed up doing the same things in life and want to take a different path, come and join our friendly tribe! : )

Decisions over Sacrifice.
Prioritise decisions that get you closer to your vision. Sacrifices are painful, Decisions are positive. Willpower is finite. Don’t waste it. Make fewer decisions.

User

Top-notch equipment and brilliant coaching. The coaches work with your individual abilities and goals and provide great support to your fitness journey.

User

This is the best place I have ever come across to train. The coaches are full of knowledge and are more than happy to work along side you if you need help. No workout is ever the same. Its like one big happy family and I love it!

User

User

My family and I dropped in here for a workout while we were on holiday. Mark was very accommodating and friendly. As a manager of a CrossFit gym in Texas it was nice to see a great gym with great staff. CrossFit works and it brings people together worldwide!

User

I started crossfit when my second son was 3mths old. My fitness was non existent and muscle tone shot to bits not to mention all the extra weight I was carrying.

The coaches made me feel welcome and capable right from the get go. They are all extremely knowledgeable and are able to support and encourage but at the same time push you to do your best. They helped build up my confidence and I've surprised myself with my strength. Workouts continue to be scaled to match my ability but also enable progress. Crossfit has definitely helped me from the inside out. Building up my muscle tone and core strength, as well as benefiting my overall health and well-being. I'm now currently pregnant with no.3 and still training. It's not easy but it's certainly worthwhile and i would recommend anyone to give it a go....you'll be surprised at how much your body can do when you try!

User

I joined Crossfit Causeway over a year ago now and it has been fab! Workouts are tough but can be scaled to your ability. Coaches are very encouraging and push you to do your best! My fitness and strength have improved a lot. Would recommend Crossfit Causeway to anyone!

User

I joined CrossFit Causeway in September 2015. With three children and a busy lifestyle I never considered exercise important. The induction was 'not a hard sell' and I enjoyed the experience. The back pain I've had for the past ten years got better. In March 2016 I was diagnosed with confirmed Osteoporosis. Exercise and a healthy diet is now extremely important to me. The help and support I've received from Coaches at Crossfit Causeway is exceptional. I have met some fantastic people and always feel welcome at any of the classes - we usually have a good laugh too!! I recognise my own personal improvements and learn new techniques I didn't think I could ever do. I train at 6.15am 'sunrise' sessions which prepare me for the day ahead both mentally and physically. It is definitely worth getting up early to start the day with a sunrise session! Highly recommend it!!

User

I initially started Crossfit a few years ago as an unfit, overweight person. It was super scary getting through the door but I'm so glad I did. It really did amazing things for my fitness levels and I lost weight and toned up quickly. I trained throughout my pregnancy, doing my last wod at 4 weeks before I was due to drop and found it a great thing to keep me fit and active.

Post baby I'm back to square 1 with the added bonus of a c section recovery and hernia but I'm back and loving it.

The coaches are all amazing, pushing you through the wods, the guys who train here are fabulous too, giving you the right mix of encouragement and banter and the facilities are great. Loads of space and changing facilities and a coffee shop for a refuel afterwards.

There is a good mix of abilities (although people are generally not unfit for long) and everything can be scaled. I love the fact that everyone does the same workout, to their own ability.

I am struggling to fit in everything with being a busy working mum, however the 6.15am classes allow me to get the workout over before work and fit well into my schedule.

I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to improve their fitness and have a bit of a laugh along the way. Also lifting weights is great. Not just for guys!!

User

I came to Ireland on holiday from the U.S. and used their open gym time and Paul treated me with the utmost respect and the facility was amazing. I trained there 2 days and was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a crossfit box

I will definitely be back.

CrossFit is for everyone . Any age any starting point . I am fifty next year and more than a few stone overweight ( to be accurate -fat and fifty !) After a 2 decade break from exercise I joined a local bootcamp last May which helped me think that my body could 'do' exercise ( thank you Gillian Anderson / Glenn Lindsay for the lightbulb moment! ) After the summer bootcamp I considered local options and spoke to Richard Lappin . I decided to give it a go for a month . Nearly 3 months in and I am hooked ! It is such a friendly supportive space . No judgement , just encouragement . The coaching is excellent . ( Thank you Richard , Paul and Mark) The classes are small . Everything can be scaled to suit each individual . There are top class athletes , 'me' and everything in between .

The endorphins are a mood boost . I am still 'fat and fifty ' , but now I am a fitter 'fat and fifty ' . I would highly recommend CrossFit Causeway to any one .

A lovely crowd of people and fantastic coaches who work with you from day one. Great for absolute beginners like me who have needed a hand getting started, but everything scales up to your ability so there’s plenty to challenge the hardcore fit types too. Great encouraging but laid-back atmosphere so you’ll soon find yourself getting fitter and stronger.

I joined Crossfit Causeway over a year ago now and it has been fab! Workouts are tough but can be scaled to your ability. Coaches are very encouraging and push you to do your best! My fitness and strength have improved a lot. Would recommend Crossfit Causeway to anyone!

I came to Ireland on holiday from the U.S. and used their open gym time and Paul treated me with the utmost respect and the facility was amazing. I trained there 2 days and was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a crossfit box

I will definitely be back.

Thank you so much
