The Art Café & Bistro

Emma, one of our lovely customers and also a newbie to Chard like us, will be at the Art Cafe on Wednesday 24th October between 9:30am and 11:00am to introduce people to Monat. This is all about the fastest growing anti ageing hair care company, the products she can offer and the ‘work at home’ business opportunities. Now I don’t know too much about it but she is a pro at it. Come and join us and meet Emma and see the products and find out about the amazing business opportunities they offer. We are offering a special breakfast deal whilst Emma is at the Cafe: a bacon or sausage sandwich and a cup of tea or coffee for just £2.95. Why not drop the kids off at school and pop along for breakfast and a chat? We hope to see you on Wednesday.

Just a reminder that The Art Cafe will be open on carnival night. We will carry our menu on until 7:30pm and then we will stay open for drinks until 9:30 or 10pm.

The Art Cafe has decided to stay open on carnival night, 13th October. We will be serving food until 7:30pm and drinks will be available until 9:30pm.

The Art Cafe are doing our first acoustic and gin night! It will be ticket entry only. A variety of gins will be available as well as the usual wines, spirits, lagers, ales, etc.

Went for lunch in a group of 5, including a three year old girl, staff were very friendly on arrival. I had the Sea Bass, Ginger and Lime Fishcakes with salad and new potatoes.They were very willing to provide a child's burger, beans and chips when we ordered (even though it wasn't on the menu). All the other plates on the table were cleared and although I didn't have a dessert the sticky toffee pudding smelled delicious!!

Will be back next time I'm in the area.

We recently had our Christmas meal here with the new owners, they were very friendly and welcoming!

Their service was brilliant and felt very comfortable, and there food was superb! Will definitely be coming back! ❤️

We had lunch in here today while on holiday, we found the service friendly, efficient and they took the time to make us feel welcome. They chatted to our children and even showed us around upstairs. My eldest who is 8 asked if we could go back again whilst we are here and we are more than happy to oblige!!

We had a really lovely lunch here. Great choice of food, really great service and friendly, welcoming staff. The food was delicious and we definitely want to squeeze in another visit before our holiday ends!!

Lovely selection of food for lunch today, I chose the broccoli and brie quiche, which was really good, I was very impressed! My husband had the fish pie, which he said was excellent, and we had sticky toffee pudding and warm chocolate brownie both served with clotted cream icecream. A lovely atmosphere and friendly service, I would highly recommend this cafe.

Lovely birthday lunch and great service!! Will come again. Highly recommended

I arrived for the first time today to have some breakfast and a drink as soon as I entered I was made welcome the staff are very friendly with a true passion the food tasted devine will defiantly be coming back again and will recommend thankyou.

Hubby and I went with friends to Paula and Cherie's Moroccan evening. All I can say is "Wow" it was fantastic. Food was absolutely perfect and the little touches made it a great evening. Well done ladies, looking forward to the next one.
