I've had some lovely reports back from my Worle and Portishead Baby Massage Mummies this week of good naps following their massages!

This morning in Portishead we will be moving on to the Arms and Hands plus a little connection with baby's head.
Oxytocin plays a huge role in Baby Massage and any positive touch. Just a simple stroke from Mum or Dad's palm to baby's releases a whole wave of feel-good hormones which strengthen that connection and bond that you have with your little one.

We will also be repeating the other areas we have learnt so far which include the legs, reflexology on the feet, chest and tummy.

This part of the massage can be practised in Tummy Time position, across the carers lap, cradled in the carers arm (tiger in the tree pose) and even sitting! A great one for all stages of development 😍

Help to settle and soothe your baby if they struggle with the misery of Reflux...
I provide individual cushions for little ones to lay on whilst enjoying their massage and suggest options for positions on Mum or Dad to ensure that they are always comfortable 💗
... For babies with reflux we look at keeping them as upright as possible and lots of downward strokes.
Always allow at least half an hour, if not longer before massaging your baby's tummy if they struggle with Reflux.

We went to The Baby Company today for the Messy Play which was amazing. My daughter had so much fun covering herself in paint, pasta and lots more!!! Would definitely recommend trying this!!!

The Baby Company is a great space with some brilliant classes and events taking place. Maddie is lovely and very knowledgable, her massage classes are a wonderful way to spend some time with your baby and learn baby massage techniques. The Hand in Hand first aid classes are also an absolute must for any soon-to-be and/or new parents.

Started baby massage today and my daughter was so chilled it was unbelievable how calm it can make babies and Maddie is amazing as well already thinking what to do next with Maddie and my daughter.

So lovely and relaxed, great atmosphere, will be back for more fun soon!!

Me and caspian have just completed a 5 week massage course. Big thank you to Maddie, you made us feel very welcome, your patience and kind gentle approach is refreshing! Highly recommend your classes and we learnt lots which me and caspian can take forward and apply to our daily routine.

Maddie is lovely and she keeps everything so calm and peaceful she teaches with baby's needs as the priority so if your baby has a wiggle, a cry or blows raspberries through the whole class she embraces it and so makes you feel comfortable rather then embarrassed of flustered.

I had baby massage classes with maddie and her gorgeous son, if ever there was a good advertisement for how baby massage and a calm mummy works to make a chilled, happy baby, you just have to look at her baby!! (Only met the youngest).

My daughter would sleep so well after class and She seemed to really enjoy it.

I Would 100% recommend this place and will be booking in for more classes with her, thank you maddie x

I can not recommend Maddie's groups enough!! We've been to her massage classes, yoga, stretch and grow series and also her other group she runs 'sensory explorers', you're always made to feel welcome and I've met some lovely mum's who I now call friends! The class sizes are always perfect as well which made it such a more enjoyable experience than some of the others we've been too. I'll be upset when my boys are too old to attend her groups �

Amazing place! I love the Baby Company. There are excellent resources for the babies and it's great for meeting other parents too.

A great place to go along to and meet other mums, a calm environment for babies to go along too and Maddie offers lots of classes for all!
