I pride myself in giving my client's the best advice and care that I can at The Beauty Box, Upper Largo. So I was disappointed to find a 1 star review on Google. I am unable to reply and rectify the review as Google are not allowing replies at the moment due to the COVID-19 outbreak so felt I should address it here.
This lady was at the beginning of her holiday and I had come out of treatment especially to speak to her regarding her nails. Now I do not offer acrylic applicat...ion or acrylic removal.
The lady had a plaster on her thumb and complained that she had knocked it and wasn't sure if it had separated from the nail bed and wanted the whole set off. I explained to her that I couldn't take them off and no professional nail technician would because we are unaware where the nails had been applied previously and what products were used and any further damage to her nails including the nail that was already injured would fall fault to me.
That is why I advised the lady to attend the hospital to see about the injured nail. It wasn't that it was too small of a job, I provided her with the care that I would provide any of my client's with if they came to me with this problem.
Even if I could have taken them off, I was in the middle of a treatment and fully booked.
Because of my professionalism and care I was reviewed 1 star which lowers my overall rating to 4.7 on Google which is disheartening as I work hard for the reputation of my business.
