User

This was my first visit which was a gift for Mothering Sunday. Absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the homemade cakes and scones are to die for. Already planning our next visit.

User

This is our second visit to this lovely place. Fabulous food and drinks at a very reasonable price. Staff are lovely and only want to help. To get a gluten and dairy free full English including toast, sausages and soya milk for my tea makes this a must stop place whenever we are near. Thanks guys!

User

The food is fresh and delicious šŸ˜‹ and staff are amazing definitely go again

User

Stumbled across this tearoom by accident on the way to the Scooter Museum. So glad we did. I loved looking at all the memorabilia. We only had a cup of tea and a piece of cake, but service was good and it was good that our little dog was allowed in the tearoom, which is always a plus to me!!

User

Really loved it here. Lovely personal touch to all of the fittings in the tea room and the food was excellent.

User

On the 31st of January The Blitz catered an 80th birthday party for a lovely woman and her friends and made a brilliant job of it. Wonderful atmosphere and truly lovely teatime food made it a memorable occasion enjoyed by everyone there. A special thanks to Jackie for her support and help and for making a beautiful iced coffee Birthday cake, and to Lucy who coped with cries of "More tea please" with grace and a lovely smile throughout the afternoon. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. X

User

Nine of us visited to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday. We all had a lovely time, especially Mum. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were lovely and as Mum is Coeliac her Gluten Free selection as just as good as ours. Many thanks.

User

Love this tea room. Went after a recommendation. The waitress, Courtney was very helpful and super polite. We ordered Afternoon tea for two, chose four different sandwiches, four different slices of cake, two fruit scones with ham and clotted cream and two coffees. Jackie the chef was excellent. The cakes we couldn't eat were wrapped for us to take away. Would definitely recommend A*******

User

It's an amazing place the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic.

User

It was a fabulous experience the afternoon tea was gorgeous the sandwiches were lovely and fresh the cakes were delicious and it was real tea leaves and the music in the background was lovely not too loud just right would recommend it very highly

User

If you are planning on having an afternoon tea, donā€™t eat for a few days so, you will have room for it all !

Two rounds of sandwiches, two large slices of cake and a scone with jam and cream.

All delicious and itā€™s great to know my daughter can eat there safely, and enjoy a gluten free meal thatā€™s very tasty.

User

Had a fantastic time here, lovely afternoon tea with the best cakes ever, really unusual flavours lavender & rose were my favourites along with all the others

Great staff & lots of wartime memorabilia to see

Will definitely be back

Thankyou

User

Brought my oldies here today for lunch/cream tea as we had a voucher. We had various sarnies, cake and a ploughmanā€™s. Ellie was ā€œin trainingā€ but did a fab job. Service and food was great.

User

Amazing place; We took mother-in-law who's in her late 70s, brought back lots of memories of her childhood, the smells, the way the staff dressed, she did not stop talking about the shop and how lovely the staff were. Afternoon tea was fantastic value for money. So much food. They kindly gave us paper bags to bring the left overs home. We Will highly recommend the Blitz tea rooms to anyone and everyone. ļæ½

User

Absolutely love this place! Iā€™ve lost track of how many times Iā€™ve visited!

Iā€™ve had my baby shower here and my hen do here!

The afternoon tea is by far the best here in terms of quality, quantity and value for money!

The only downside to the afternoon tea being so good is I havenā€™t tried much else off the menu! :D

User

7 of us came for afternoon tea for one of my hen doā€™s and we loved it, lovely friendly staff, cakes tasted amazing and the best scone Iā€™ve had. We will be back
