... The evenings' entertainment is a live performance from singer/songwriter, Ben Willingham. CHECK HIM OUT !!
He's a solo guitar player and singer.
The theme for the night will be the colour purple. This being because it is the adoptive colour of Fibro Charities. All of us staff will be getting in with the theme so hopefully, you guys will too!

Today’s menu special is...

We had lunch here today and we both really enjoyed our meal. We felt that it was really good value for money and the pulled pork burrito was one of the best meals I've eaten out in a long time!

The new place is pretty cool, loads of big TVs for sky sports and BT sports so you won't miss a game, good food and a pool table

Put it this way, if the cannon closed down I would probably cry in front of my close personal friends and family.

It's a lush place now, love all of the little quirky thing it's got going on, the pool table was a great addition!

It has great art, especially business mouse, also a sexy, talented and mysterious bartender with the mononym ‘Puppy’ although he’s so much more than that name would have you believe...�

Hands down best bar in Bath. For the prices, the sport and for the staff.

Great funky decor and nice large space to feel relaxed and happy in :) its really transformed the place. food was nice and reasonably priced , cocktails were good and barmaids and waitresses were lovely :)

New decor is great! It's totally transformed former molloys and could make it a real competitor to other bars in the area.



However eating here today. The service needs some improving- give your new staff some serious till training!! Ordering food was seriously painful. The girl had no clue where anything was on the system.



The food was not the most flavoursome but for the price was pretty good.



Hopefully these are just teething problems. We will be back for drinks and to try it on an evening to see how good the night life is here.

Food brilliant barman thin and grey haired very rude to us all know there was 14 of us we spent a lot of money he moaned non stop couldn't cope with the pressure yet it was not that busy we were there from 3 until 8 won't be back in a hurry and the men want a pint not three quarters!! Wine excellent and good value

A lovely lad served me and my friend who was very friendly and chatty so I thought I'd go again and take my husband but we were very disappointed to be served by a miserable young girl who over charged us and didn't seem bothered with no Appologies offered. Food was flavourless and dry and not exactly what we ordered. Mine was ordered with halloumi cheese but there wasn't any with my meal. Lack of dressings and generally poor service this time plus having to wait a long time to be served. Certainly not worth the wait. We won't be rushing back any time soon.

I was there yesterday with 5 colleagues from work. I am sorry to say I was very disappointed. We had to wait easily 45 minutes for food and it was mainly burgers and chips. I ordered couscous and halloumi salad and the couscous was barely visible. Also the salad did not come with any dressing. I went ask for oil and they did not have any. So my choice was to use ketchup and mayo as a dressing. Nobody went to check if we needed something else either. Maybe I should have expected this as it was actually cheap but I did not satisfy my hunger at all.The place is nice so I might go back for drinks only. No food definitely

Went to the Canon, Bath for a birthday meal. Would not be returning to this place at all. They get your food orders wrong and the food is horrible. Staff are thick and need training on customer service!

Went for a birthday group meal on Saturday night (10 of us), let's start with the venue is nice, clean and the menu is cheap in price. But apart from that I could not recommend anything else. The meal we had was just awful, most of us had to wait over a hour for our food and one person had to wait for 1 and half hours for their meal. When the food did come out it was cold and when we complained to the waiter he rolled his eyes... and when we tried to talk to someone about it and she never came back. We went and found the manager and were was told our food had gone to the wrong table and it was busy down stairs. Once our food came back out the manager told us we could have our money back. We just felt very disappointed in the service we received and we all agreed that we won't be going back any time soon.

We went here for Sunday lunch food was vile beef tasted like it just been peeled off the floor and rubbery,chicken was so dry u couldn't even eat it,frozen potatoes,gravy was like water to which we asked for more gravy and come up from the kitchen 20 mins later not the best experience of a pub they advertise like being one of the best very poor

Some econ cunts ordered some wings & there weren't even any bloody wings! On wing Wednesday of all days!! The Canon? More like the water pistol!!! Outrageous.

So on 6 separate occasions I have visited the Canon in Bath... on 6 separate occasions I have been told the kitchen is closed at 8 pm in the evening... the menu says things like... 'pop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner ' yet the moment I try and order chips I am reminded that all chefs went home at 7 pm.... I wouldn't mind but on other occasions 10 is fine for food service. Who runs a central city pub?!? The chef??? I am a more club member yet get treated like I am the one out of order at the bar when I ask when the kitchen should close... what a shame you try so hard to be a decent venue yet fail at the first hurdle of customer service... if you can let me know the standard chef working hours in one of your pubs so I have a small chance of getting served at some point, it would be greatly appreciated!! Or if it's entirely down to the individual venue perhaps some way of documenting it to the public would be helpful. Is there a specific time when the kitchen is allowed to close or is it just down to the individual and how long they can be bothered to keep the fryers going?? Doesn't exactly make me want to rush back and spend more.with your company! I appreciate no-one.wants to work longer than necessary, and I assume your staff are paid to facilitate a certain number of hours a week... so why does it become an issue to keep the kitchen open after 7... I assume you have a chef shift.that lasts longer than this... and if your chef in Bath struggles to fulfil these hours perhaps your HR department should look at this issue...
