Visited here around 5pm and found that they weren’t serving food until 6pm. However the lady kindly made us a delicious meal anyway- complete with handmade chips and friendly service. She wasn’t fazed by us being vegetarian and I liked how they had non-plastic straws without making a big deal out of it.

Popped in for lunch today and it was lovely! I had the steak & onion ciabatta and hubby had the homemade burger... all freshly cooked with real chips! Small menu but very reasonably priced... definitely worth the visit! Good luck xx

Had an excellent Sunday lunch here today. Friendly welcome, delicious lunch with all the trimmings and very generous portion sizes. Lovely home-made gravy :-) Looking really nice and cosy inside as well. Very good value for money - two starters, two dinners and three soft drinks came to only £22. Planning to be back again soon as really enjoyed!
