Join us for fresh and wholesome home-cooked food in the relaxed dining environment of The Copper Horse restaurant.
Situated in the pretty village of Seamer just outside Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast The Copper Horse offers a truly enjoyable dining experience.
Menu choices are seasonally inspired and complemented by great service from our friendly team making The Copper Horse the perfect place to meet with friends, relax and enjoy great food.
We offer a delicious and varied menu, a weekly specials board plus from 12 September we have a fantastic early-evening 2 and 3 course menu – making The Copper Horse the perfect location for drinks with friends, a light lunch, casual dinner or special occasion.
Our outside heated seating is popular all year round and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the bar.

This was definitely one of the best Sunday Roast Beef lunches I've had in a very long time, if you are down this way you must visit and have a meal top quality �
The refit is great, the food was excellent and the staff very attentive. 20 odd years ago we got engaged here and when they found out why we'd booked they gave us a free bottle of bubbly, thanks team Copper Horse, it went down a treat! We thoroughly recommend them for any occation.

Never had a poor meal here, love the Sunday roast , friendly staff, great atmosphere , you can actually have a conversation without shouting above music
Currently our favourite pub/ restaurant
Its not often you visit a pkace where everything fits perfectly but this is one of those places . The food was outstanding especially the triple cooked chips which were the best ive ever had . The staff were attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere was great too . If I was forced to pick one gripe it would be Nikkis mash did taste a little of "Smash " . We would definately go again , Thanks Copper Horse x

Came all the way back here from Derbyshire after our first visit in May! Lovely to be back and had just as good a meal , if not better! Love the Mac cheese balls ! The decor is amazing and a real talking point! Great attention to detail .. we’ll definitely be back next year!
Called in on the off chance, drove passed many times and always promised ourselves we would try this. So glad we did, marvelous staff, make you feel welcome and the food was fantastic.
Always had a very enjoyable meal and it’s served perfectly by very efficient and friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Also, drinks are served perfectly, correct temperature and lovely glasses. The decor is immaculate and it has a lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
I took my American friend who wanted to go to an English traditional pub and I suppose the place is as near to a traditional pub as you can, the food and the staff was really good, would recommend the place
