What a lovely place! Went there yesterday for a football presentation, it has a brilliant play area for kids with a football/basketball pitch and a fabulous play bus which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Parents can sit on the decking and watch their kids play safe and the food was delicious and very well priced - the in laws enjoyed so much that they are heading there again this week a fab place ��

We went here last night, there was 7 of us. As soon as we walked through the doors I could feel the lovely welcoming atmosphere. We were seated at our table, we didn’t even have to go to the bar, the lovely friendly waitress took our drinks order while we were left to look at the menu. Which was a good selection to choose from, or from the specials board.

When our food arrived all I can say is WOW! presentation was 10/10. We were all given our meals together (usually when ever we go for food we find that one or two of us are still waiting while everyone tucks into their food). My boys had pizza each which may I add was homemade and fresh and a very good size too. My farmers chicken (which is usually named Chicken Newyorker. Or BBQ Chicken in most places) was outstanding I always order this, but never have I tasted it like this before. We were all please with our food, there was nothing left over (which we usually do have and take any left overs home for the dog, she was disappointed �)

Steak was also ordered and was cooked perfect. Moving on to desserts, the lovely waitress recommended Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake because I was so undecided and it didn’t disappoint it was gorgeous. Everything here is outstanding, we couldn’t fault anything, all staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back, especially summer time, because Out the back is a fantastic play area, football pitch and even a cinema bus, we can’t wait to go back. Well done The Farmers.

We visited here today, there was 20 of us in total. From the time we walked in the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Everyone’s meals were outstanding and considering there was 20 of us and everyone had a perfect meal that’s outstanding!! Thank you so much for making our day out a good one. �

We had our Daughters movie party here today and it was amazing. Our server Charlotte couldn't of been more helpful. Our Daughter and her friends had the best time. They all enjoyed the food. The adults who were there ordered off the main menu and the food was delicious and was freshly home cooked food at its best. Thank you for making our Daughters day so special. Xx

Visited today for a family Sunday lunch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent value for money, but most importantly it was delicious. Loads of really tasty meat and plenty of veg and gravy. We then spent some time in the outdoor play area afterwards which the kids absolutely loved. Looking forward to returning to sample the regular menu �

This is the 2nd time I’ve visited the farmers arms now. We cannot enjoy the place more. The first time we came was for a large family meal, the staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating, couldn’t do enough for us. The service & food were both fantastic. Everyone one of the party commented how lovely it was

The second time was last night for my sons football presentation. Again cannot fault anything. The play area for the kids is fabulous, no nagging was to be had as the kids were all enjoying, giving the parents the chance to sit down, talk & soak up the atmosphere. Once again, the food & staff were all fantastic

Omg I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to pop in and experience this amazing place. Kind of made up for it visiting twice in the last few days. My son absolutely loves the place also, he’s 5 and enjoys football. The play area out the back is class. It’s safe and all the kids there are super friendly. The Food is defo my personal favourite as they offer a vegan menu. Any Vegans and veggies I highly recommend the mushroom balti. Staff are very helpful and down to earth, making everything easy, relaxed and inviting. �

Me and my disabled mother just came here for a meal -no words to explain how good the service, food and facilities were! warm welcome, beautiful and clean inside! food came quick and was piping hot and fresh. generous portions, great prices absolutely stunning toilets and accessible all round. amazing what they have done with the place - will 100% be back here! cant recommend enough. should be proud of this place!

Had my daughters 6th birthday party there today on the party bus. Everyone loved it from start to finishes, what a different experience for them all . The staff were so lovely and helpfull, we also stayed for Sunday dinner to which was stunning. Will definitely be returning. Thanks everyone xx

Came for a meal tonight for my birthday 21 of us, first time being there after so many people telling me to try it and i am so glad we did! Food was out of this world� amazing staff and the chef was outstanding, well done jonny � fair play to him will definitely be coming back �

All I can say is Wow. We came here for mother’s day yesterday 12 of us in total and all of us had the best Sunday dinner we have ever tasted, we would def give 10 out of 10 for the whole experience, from eating the food, the service, it was all outstanding that everyone who worked there went out of their way to look after us all and even when we ordered a takeaway dinner aswell and my son smashed the plate on the floor and it was no trouble to them and that they changed it for us. A massive thank you for making the day so special for us all and we can’t wait to return and already booked for my sons birthday and looking forward to having a evening meal there 😍👌👍 xxx

One suggestion (the reason for not giving a 5*)



Parking!!!! If you painted the white lines to section car park spaces it would be much better as I’ve all the cars moved down a bit u could of got 3 or more cars in.



Will be returning soon hopefully in warmer weather! X

Food is really nice but the service is questionable. I have been twice now as part of prebooked party and left really annoyed. Food ordered by small groups of people/ couples seem to come relatively quickly but larger groups seem to wait over an hour! On our first visit we had pre-ordered yet waited 75 minuets for the food to come! On our second visit we waited 65 minuets! Every time you ask about your not given any real updates and the staff tell you different things. Everyone is nice enough but communication is severely lacking. It seems they really struggle with large bookings which is even more apparent when your squeezed into small spaces. As previously mentioned the food, when it arrives, is really nice but it’s not worth the ridiculously long wait.
