You'll not get another view like this! Just sit and watch the world go by :-) Light snacks available. Unless you choose the top, indoor, bar there are steps which are quite steep so if you have a pram or elderly family members factor this in. I'll never visit Salcombe without coming back to The Ferry - it is quintessentially Salcombe.

User

What a great night we had with you guys forgot to buy tonic from you guys to go with the free gin lol

User

We visited Salcombe today and had lunch at this lovely pub. Fish and chips were superb! Chips were home made and the fish was cooked to perfection. Very reasonably priced and quick friendly service, considering how busy it was. Will definitely return on our next visit.

User

Visiting from Essex and loved the dog friendly atmosphere. Loved the warm welcome and witty toilet signs! Highly recommend!

User

This is a fabulous pub with the most stunning views from the beer garden. Doggy friendly - which was super. The manager is so friendly and welcoming. The food is fabulous. We sat all afternoon and will definitely be returning. If you visit Salcombe you must visit The Ferry Inn. Just fantastic. Thank you.

User

Such a great place to to have spent a sunny afternoon. There was a lovely atmosphere outside on the terrace People eating, drinking and enjoying the fabulous sea views. Couldn't have been any better.

Steaks delicious and the chips are out of this world. Staff are incredible; nothing is too much trouble. The quiz is great fun and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Can't speak highly enough of the Ferry Inn. Brilliant.

User

Lovely friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. We played board games with our boys, and they had free wifi, so everyone was happy!

User

Had a really nice burger meal, well presented and served. Stephen & Peter are great hosts and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Views to die for over the estuary and towards the sea. Will use again when next in the area.

User

Great food, great location overlooking the estuary with great views and child and dog friendly

User

Beautiful view from the outside seating area, the water always seems to look turquoise here whatever the weather. Doggie friendly and food good. Always try and drop in when we're in salcome

User

Another fabulous evening in the Ferry Inn last night - and not just because we won the quiz!! Lovely food, reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff. The manager really is exceptional, he never stops! Behind the bar, serving the food, checking everyone's having a nice time, and he writes a great quiz, am having another listen to my Motown CD tonight. Thanks

User

We visited the inn for some late afternoon drinks. Staff were very friendly. The views over the estuary and the ferry going backwards and forwards is a joy. We intend going to the steak and curry nights whilst starting in the area over the coming weeks whilst in salcombe as long as they can accommodate a celiac unable to have gluten.

The interior is very old just as the inn is. Nice touches having games to play on the tables like scrabble and draughts etc.

Only thing against it i would say they need to take a bit more care in clearing and cleaning tables ours was very messy and a lots of salt etc where people had eaten earlier in the day and not been cleaned away.

Go try it while in town

User

Really friendly pub that serve a good selection of beers and food and they really do like dogs who are welcome in the bar and restaurant and are made a fuss off 😄

I keep going back so can say highly recommend this pub... also they do delis cream teas 😋

User

Nice wee local pub, hardlychanged in 30 years, friendly staff and a good pint

User

Location is fantastic for a spot of lunch. Steak a little fatty but that's all. Staff and location were great. Would visit again, hopefully in summer with a beer and some live music in the garden ;)

User

Fab location, sitting in the garden overlooking the estuary. A hell of a long queue at the bar though ... literally 25 minutes to get served!! No ice available, so the coke poured from a 2 litre bottle was not cold. Food was really good .... all in all ... be prepared to wait but worth it in the end ..... not enough staff on the day !!

User

The quality of food and drink was ok, but not worth the price. £6 for a bottle of Kopparberg! I'm sorry, but that is taking the piss! Were told 45 minute wait, took over an hour. Then you have to go and get your own cutlery and condiments etc. I don't mind that when paying normal pub prices, but you're not charging normal pub prices... You're charging restaurant prices. Very dissapointed. Would not go there again.
