This Saturday we are taking part in Trading Local's Theatre in Shops Event. This means that we will have a professional actor on the forecourt of our cafe performing an original script. We have seen the rehearsal and it's very entertaining and promises to be a great fun performance, so why not come along tomorrow and enjoy the show.
Some of our homemade cakes ready for the weekend. These are Sticky Toffee Cake and Carrot Cake.
The sun is shining and Burnham is looking beautiful. Come along this afternoon and enjoy a slice of one of these lovely homemade cakes on the sunny seafront.
Been catching up on our cake baking today after a busy bank holiday weekend. Here are two new additions to our homemade cake selection, a Coffee and Walnut Cake and a Cherry and Almond Loaf. Why not come along tomorrow and try them out.
We've had a busy baking day today. These pics are of the Chocolate Sponge with Milk Chocolate Ganache and Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. Also freshly baked today are a Passion Fruit Sponge and of course the lovely Lemon Drizzle. Come and enjoy with a delicious Latte, both coffee and cake for only £3.20.
Ploughman's at The Parlour, served with a fresh baked crusty roll and butter £6.60.
Went for Sunday lunch. The place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. Didn't have high expectations, but wow. We had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with veg and real roast potatoes. Was lovely home cooked food. Highly recommended. We will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely dinner at this restaurant Friday evening. The food is delicious and great service too. Would recommend a visit, located right on seafront so good views too!
Had a lovely beef dinner very friendly people
Excellent cream teas and spotlessly clean staff very friendly and helpful x
Completely Excellent in every way..If you are going to eat in Burnham, make it at the Front Parlour xx
An understandably popular restaurant, situated on Burnham-on-Sea's Esplanade. Sunday roasts are reasonably priced and very tasty! It boasts a quaint-but-comfortable ambience, and is famous for its cream teas. The best views of Bridgwater Bay are from upstairs, and there is outside seating ready for the warm Summer months. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the decor is very pleasant. As a regular customer I heartily recommend The Front Parlour.
Amazing high tea - again!
A proper tea room, but with great coffee, thanks to the rather tasty waiter
Had the cream tea in bone china cups. Lovely sitting out in the sun
Had lunch here before the drive home.
Survive was a little slow, but the staff were friendly and it's clean.
Our food was very nice. Yorkshire puddings definitely not home made, however I had a very tasty beef dinner and my girls enjoyed their jacket potatoes.
Could do with more vegetarian choices.
Really disappointed with the service today. Waited 40 mins for our roast to arrive and people who came in afterwards were being served before us. Had such high expectations as been before & great reviews. The Yorkshire puds were certainly not home made neither were the roast potatos. Sprouts were not fresh but extremely hard frozen ones. Think it must be new owners as the standard was much less than beforehand. Others waited a very long time too. Not a problem if you're informed of the wait time and acknowledged. Shame.
