Had a lovely lunch with my husband last week. The vegan and gluten free options were delicious, and we were very happy and full when we left!

Food was superb and at a great price. Real ale was spot on and a really cosy, relaxed vibe. Will remember this place when IŌĆÖm in the area again. Dean and Charlotte ’┐Į’┐Į

Booked a table for MotherŌĆÖs Day - so was worried about it being a set menu if there would be enough choice. Safe to say I didnŌĆÖt need to worry at all! There was so much choice. All three courses I had were absolutely gorgeous (mushrooms, beef roast & apple pie) and my mum loved all of hers too. IŌĆÖve eaten here before and this time didnŌĆÖt disappoint either. Would 100% go back as we had such a lovely meal with a very friendly and helpful waitress.

All the staff were very polite and attentive,the menu was full of different dishes that would cater for everyone,good selection of drinks,hot food,very good value for money,definitely recommend this place to everyone ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ.

Visited here Saturday night we had beautiful food & a superb waiter! Lovely place will definitely visit again when in Bath.

I couldnŌĆÖt fault any of your staff very polite and helpful

I had the cheese and melt bite which seemed quite tasteless the 3 way cooked chips were very tastey and my dessert and hot chocolate was very yummy no complaint there

I had to complain and was then given the same again.

Booked a table for 6 of us online. The food arrived in good time but unfortunately some of the potatoes were hard and had to be sent back. As did some ofthe parsnips. We then found an over charge when the bill arrived of ┬Ż21 (as they tried to charge me for several drinks that did not have)! Always check your bill !

We arrived Friday to be seated to our booked table by a very polite young man. We looked at the menus and found what we wanted. The food was ok nothing special but ok. However we found the team of waitresses to be very loud, immature and quite frankly very silly shouting and joking while we and others were trying to eat and talk. We won't return because the food was mediocre for the price. Nice setting let down by staff and food.

Not good. Food and service was poor. Meal was not worth the price. If your considering this place dont bother as they know they are crap yet still carry on taking up front payments for sub standard food even after what has been written on here by their punters. All in all a crap place.

My husband and i visited here FRIDAY evening for the very 1st time. After purchasing our drinks we sat in the 'bar area' to the right of the main entrance. After about 20 mins we were approached by a young staff member serving food at tables and told we had to move because apparently the table we were sitting at was reserved. At no time did we see any reserve notice/sign on the table we were sat at. We then moved to another seat we had to share with another customer ,only to see a notice above the bar stating , Please help yourself to a table. I did question a member of staff as to where in the pub are we actually aloud to sit, if just drinking and not purchasing food, to then be shown a reserved notice ,which she said was on the floor under the table we 1st sat on. She made me and my husband feel as if we were being accused of removing the reserve notice from the table,yet there were several tables at the bar area with reserve notices on them and customers eating at them ..My husband and i didn't even finsh our drinks and left. We felt quite upset and embarrassed .Other customers sat around the bar area could see just how awkward we felt after being basically accused of moving a sign off the table when there was 100% not one on the table .. We won't be going there again that's for sure. Maybe the sign from above the bar should be taken down about helping yourself to a table!.

I booked a table at 12pm only to be called at 6pm(!) by an American woman who informed me I couldn't have my table people because it's not available. I rang back and was told if I turn up we could sit in the bar area, but it would probably be full, they had given out seats away to someone else. This is terrible customer service to ring at 6pm on a Saturday when most other restaurants are booked which ruined our evening. As a loyal customer I was really disappointed and annoyed I will not be eating here again.
