We had lunch here on Sunday as a family, the waitress, I forget her name was fabulous, she was really welcoming with a lovely personality, she waited on us hand and foot, nothing as to much trouble for us.

The food was stunning, Shame we lived so far away or we'd be here nearly every night eating food.

Can't wait to come here to Weston again even if its to have food,

Had the vegan tortilla meal tonight which was very spicy, our waiter was amazing, unfortunately didn’t get his name but he got the chefs to make me a new one without the chilli oil. Made my night. Was amazing! � would highly recommend the food and the service! Five star � customer service!

We came back to the Landing Light tonight after not visiting for a while, it was quite busy especially since this was the first bit of decent weather this year! After eventually being seated near the indoor play area we waited for quite a while to be served. However, this is absolutely no reflection on the the lovely Ryan who served us, he was literally flat out all night (we watched as he shot from table to table). Food and drinks came out quickly once ordered and food was fine.

I have to come back to the Ryan issue. He was serving in our section with another person whose name I didn't catch, he was pleasant, accommodating, and happy to help, although quite clearly struggling, but not because he wasn't capable. The workload of our area was unevenly distributed, and I watched while another table that wasn't assigned to him waited over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. This is unacceptable in a restaurant that prides itself on table service, otherwise we may as well just go order at the bar like several other places.

Thank you Ryan for being such a lovely host, and LL, you need to make sure the staff that are an asset to you are looked after.

Very enjoyable meal, ribs were tender and tasty. Staff were great, just the right amount of attention without them hanging on your shoulder. The only negative wasn't their fault, one loudmouth young lad with an ego the size of a planet, and a gob to match, made sure the entire place could hear the total BS that was coming out of his trap. The two way chicken burger was delicious and the kids meal great, my only critisium on that would be the mash was a little dry. Loverly coid most of the time i would recommend to book in advance .

Went for Sunday lunch .Waitress was very friendly , as were the rest of the staff . However the plates could have been with being checked when coming from the dishwasher! No salt or pepper on the table and the food was not hot. That said it was tasty.

The sirloin beef was tough though and rather like a steak . The puddings were not the hottest but very tasty. The wine was delicious and thoroughly enjoyable.

We did pass comments about the plates to the waitress when she came to collect them (greasy fingerprints on edge kind of put you off)

Next time we will probably go elsewhere .

Went yesterday they accommodated at last minute but sadly food wasn’t up to normal standard as they were rushing because it was so busy but our waitress was very friendly shame about food maybe they need more staff during busy periods

Went there for an impromptu lunch today with my daughter. Sign clearly says wait to be seated so we did, we waited and waited we were seen by numerous staff members who didn’t acknowledge us once after several minute of being blatantly ignored we left! Wouldn’t have minded if it was busy but there were clearly tables available! Won’t return!

Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was tasty but half the ingredients were missing. Chicken tacos had very little in them. A tiny amount of chicken not even as much as the size of my little finger, the same with lettuce and the salsa just about coloured the wrap but didn’t really taste. As for guacamole and sour cream there was none at all. I paid the £1 to upgrade to fire fries and I’m pretty sure they hadn’t seen any Tabasco as they tasted no different to ordinary fries. We weren’t even asked if the meals were ok. My son had to change his lager shandy as instead of looking clear it was very cloudy and obviously had something else in it😟. 6 disappointed people .

Jackets potatoes were microwaved and tasteless, the cheese had been microwaved with it which didn’t look presentable. By the time it had come to the table it was only just warm. When ordered I asked if it came with side salad to be told yes. Came with a garnish of a few green leaves.

Steak sandwich was full of gristle so unable to chew. Customer service was very poor.

Won’t come back nor recommend. Very disappointing.

Spoilt Halluomi, black pudding, chicken etc. Flavourless lumps of tar. Not a chef but a deep fat fryer operative without a clue is cooking food that has been taken out of the freezer. Such a shame as the pub and staff are great. Get someone in who can use a deep fat fryer - it can’t be that hard!

Very rarely do I leave a review but all I'm going to say Is being served gone off food is a massive no no in my eyes. I am shocked not one of your chefs knew it was gone off before being served and worries me about the other products on offer and how they are stored in your premises.

Thought we'd try it as the Menu looked tempting when we looked it up on Facebook.



They'd run out of chicken for the chicken burgers so I ordered a rack of ribs. It didn't look great when it arrived, watery sauce on it.



Found it was cold when I tasted it. It got sent back to the kitchen but they wouldn't reheat or replace it with something else because they had finished cooking!



Wifes Steak pie was ok and the desserts were tasty. We got free desserts and coffee and didn't pay for the Ribs but really disappointing I ended up back at home without a meal inside me! I didn't even get a chance to scoff the rest of the chips after the plate disappeared back in to the kitchen :-(

Terrible service, poor food and dirty/sticky tables, food remains on floor and chairs, generally a very low standard of housekeeping and that’s at a time when it was quiet!

Won’t be going back!

Wifes Steak pie was ok and the desserts were tasty. We got free desserts and coffee and didn't pay for the Ribs but really disappointing I ended up back at home without a meal inside me! I didn't even get a chance to scoff the rest of the chips after the plate disappeared back in to the kitchen :-(

Terrible service, poor food and dirty/sticky tables, food remains on floor and chairs, generally a very low standard of housekeeping and that’s at a time when it was quiet!

Won’t be going back!

I thought the food was presented very badly and it tasted as bad as it looked won't be using again

Bar staff was rude after waiting about 10 min as nobody was there wasn't even busy then food got served had green chips on plate won't be going again little things like this can put people off for good !!!!
