With a big sigh of relief, we’re pleased to say the roadworks outside the pub are finally finished! Its lovely seeing our courtyard being enjoyed on such beautiful evenings - now in peace and quiet!

We will be closed from 3pm today for a wedding (kitchen closes at 2pm), apologies for any inconvenience. We will be open as usual tomorrow for our traditional Sunday lunch.

We are closed this lunchtime for a private event. We will be open again from 5pm.

Went for dinner here for my husbands birthday, had no prior experience of the place but the food was fantastic, service was brilliant and the atmosphere relaxed, a wonderful meal, highly recommended by us!!

We stopped on our road trip here for a meal, it was absolutely brilliant! We had the duck and the lamb rump , it just melted in our mouth, on the spot seasoning and the right size of a portion a simple dish with a 5* taste! Very nice staff as well.

We love the Tav. We lived in Bath till September last year and it was our local. We still like to go back when we visit. Food is excellent and the team are fab. It was my birthday yesterday and Fabia gave us a bottle of fizz to celebrate. A Bath gem and a really nice courtyard garden when the sun is shining. Highly recommended.

This place never fails to deliver, my partner and I have enjoyed countless nights eating and drinking here. The customer service is always above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend the Marlborough tavern.

So glad we managed to squeeze in for some dinner this evening, the food was delicious and staff friendly! Thanks!

Absolutely scrumptious food. The one place in bath where the veggie burger is made by a chef who understands veggie food. Love be the ambiance and people who work there. They serve an awesome ginger beer that is homemade! Don't miss it....

Only had drinks but lovely & cosy & friendly, food looked good what came out!

Lovely pub, we went for dinner.

Starter (goats curd) was truly amazing, but sadly I plumped for a burger for main course (something I seldom eat) expecting it to be equally gastro, and it really wasn’t. Lots of other choice though, for next time.

Lovely location, pretty outdoor area and very doggy friendly with lots of bowls of fresh water for our furry friends

Food wonderful... beef was fantastic and belly pork the best in bath, great Sunday lunch. However, service was dreadful ... had four different people serving us, waited 25 mins for a dessert menu and had to go to the Till to pay... also, when we first arrived we were shown to a really small table which had been shoe horned in behind a larger table and when we asked for a different table , were told they were fully booked... they offered us another table when they saw we were leaving.... such a shame , the service lets the amazing chef down...

Came in for a roast today and it was delicious. The staff were great too. Sadly your toilets were such a mess and really rundown. I think you need to refurbish them and even add additional toilets so there are more than two cubicles.

Went for the Sunday roast, had the pork and it was absolutely delicious. However the service was atrocious. We were left waiting for a dessert menu for 20 minutes after being asked if we would like to see one. It seemed the staff were more intent on cleaning up to go home than to serve their customers. We ended up going to the till to pay because we couldn't get service.

I would give this a lower score if the food wasn't as good as it was. Will not be coming back just based on service
