A friendly 17th century public house in Nailsea, steeped in history with Bristol on its doorstep. A warm welcoming atmosphere, award winning Dorset brewed Hall & Woodhouse Badger ales & great home cooked food!

The Old Farmhouse is a 17th century former farmhouse, which is now a Grade II listed building (as of 13th October 1952) & is open to the public as a traditional family pub since 1986. Hearty pub fare and local ales in a rustic setting with stripped floor, beams, converted barn & wood stove.
Under new management as of August 2017, publicans Gemma & Monty are using their combined expertise of 12 years in the pub trade to enhance The Old Farmhouse in its entirety, offering a friendly, comfortable & memorable experience whatever the occasion.
With a skilled culinary team The Old Farmhouse offers an extensive menu using the freshest local & seasonal produce, as well as offering a variety of homemade pies, fish dishes & selected daily specials.
Our signature Farmhouse Carvery is also served every Sunday, with a choice of 4 perfectly cooked meats, alongside a wide range of freshly cooked vegetable dishes.
Delicious food is served in the barn, cosy bar area or the old kitchen near to roaring log fires in the winter. In the summer a large outside area allows for al fresco summer dining.
The menus are complimented by real ales served to perfection, refreshing lagers, draft & bottled country ciders, a choice of wines, soft drinks, spirits & digestifs.

We've been several time for the Sunday Lunch and not one time has it been less than amazing. There is so much food to choose from and all of it extremely tasty. Plus the staff are always helpful and asking if you need anything. Top service & atmosphere. What a great pub!!

Not been for a carvery here for 15 years, must have changed hands a dozen times or so in the meantime, however it was amazing. Really good food. Very busy, so next time we will book - we got lucky with a table as we came in late. Will most certainly be coming for Sunday lunch again as it was just so good!

I have eaten here over a dozen times in the past couple of years. The service has always been exceptional as have the staff. They are always offering to do more and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble!
Had a meal there on Sunday afternoon with elderly parents. The staff were exceptionally polite, the service was excellent and the food was delicious �����

Great food will definitely be coming back nice warm restaurant and welcoming staff who when under pressure worked there butts off to get everyone served as quick as they could x x x well done guys x
Excellent service friendly staff and the food is excellent can definitely recommend the homemade pies, burgers or from the special board hubby had the ribs 👍🏻👍🏻

Booked a table for five and we all had a lovely lunch! Generous portions, all food freshly cooked and hot. Friendly, helpful staff. We will be coming back to try your Sunday Carvery!
The food was good but waiting ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for our meal was totally unacceptable. When we complained to the waiter and stated that we were not happy we expected the manager to come to us but no. Obviously this sort of non service is acceptable to them.
Poor service had to fetch menus. It was not clear that you had to order at a point. The fish was very greasy unlike a previous restaurant that I went to. Disappointing
