Went there for my birthday meal tonight, made to feel welcome also a family member is gluten free, very happy to go somewhere with a good variety of range of gluten free foods. Excellent service and staff and management, food was amazing and homely. Will be recommending here to family and friends

Good beers, lovely food, and the girl on the bar was exemplary. It was busy, and she dealt with us like a pro. Will be returning V soon, we may have a new favourite local!

One of my favourite places to go when out on our beach walkies with my little furry friend. Love the fact they are dog friendly. Have to stay in one area and I think this is perfectly acceptable. I prefer the comfy little dog friendly area anyway so win win haha. Staff are always super friendly and happy to help with smiles on their faces. Never had a bad meal here and prices are super reasonable. Normally have 2 meals and 2 drinks for £20 Can't fault that. Plus we always get offered a bowl of water for our dog too and treats on the bar for them so happy days. Thank you

Just spent the weekend in Swansea moving our daughter to her fifth student house!!! We had a couple of meals at the pub and I have to say that even though it was a really busy weekend with the air show on, the staff behind the bar were cheerful and helpful. The food was delicious and we didn't have to really wait for it. I loved all the old photos around the walls of old Swansea. Having a nearly empty carpark to the rear (you get parking fee refunded if you buy in the pub) was really handy for the big van we went down in too. We whiled more than a few very pleasant hours in the quayside beer garden away watching the boats coming in and out.

Got a table without booking. Too much gravy on husbands food. Maybe should come separately? Chicken and bacon salad 🥗 not too bad.

Came to have some lunch and they have a ridulous policy where you can only be served food outside if you sit under the 'black umbrellas'! We didn't want to sit under an umbrella, we wanted to have bit of rare sunshine! Needless to say, we had lunch at the next pub along..... In the sunshine!

We didn’t eat there just went for a drink! but when I had to use the toilet it was awful! Very dirty and extremely small! such a shame for a lovely placed pub!!!

Been a few times and it’s just shocking, queue time just to get a drink is ridiculous and there always seems to be at least a 45 minute wait for food. The food is always rubbish as well now. The waitress was quite aplojetic though when she asked if everything was ok . Ordered a hot chocolate fudge ice cream this also took about 25 minutes to come and we had to ask 2 different people how long it was going to be . No clean spoons available an off duty member of staff who was there watching the football got spoons for us . Will give it a try again though as I quite like it there though Last night it did seem very unorganised and there seemed to be quite a few people complaining

Having walked the sea front of swansea during the short spell of good weather swansea had to offer we came across a beautiful building locally known by its iconic tower and prime location within the marina area. However having such nice weather we decide to stop for a drink and a desert to finish off the day. But as soon as ordering just two drinks and two seemingly simple deserts, we started the timer as it grew to be a lengthy wait just for two deserts. Waiting for our deserts looking over at the kitchen we could see that the manger on duty and assisting in the kitchen but nobody else for any other preparation. At this stage we had been waiting 45 mins for just two deserts and I proceeded to the counter to enquirer about the time and location of our deserts. The bartender gladly aided in this issue and with no hesitation he clambered into the kitchen asking the manager were our deserts were. As nearly all starters and mains were delivered around our table to customers that had ordered after we had. She started to him to advise us that she will gladly make the deserts and bring the over. As a few mins passed I noticed that the manager was back in the kitchen helping prepare mains and starters for obviously other customers . I then went back the to bar and announced to the bartender that it was in-acceptable and that I wanted a refund as I wasn’t prepared to wait any longer and that the managers ignorance and lack of customer satisfaction she couldn’t even show her face to apologise and just said to the bartender to return our money but stayed in the kitchen herself.

Not impressed with the service this evening. Forgot to give us our daughters food and when asked about it the waitress had an attitude. Waited for ages for food to come out. Food was very poor and overpriced. Bill was incorrect at the end and when questioned they didn't believe us and had to get manager involved. Waitress then decided to bad mouth my husband to my mum in law and had the audacity to say that she would have told him to man up. Absolutely Disgraceful.

Not impressed with the food at all. £15.00 for surf and turf, I asked for a medium steak, it came burnt and was tough as an old boot, my friend had burger which was as hard as wood and my boyfriend and other friend had fish which was soggy and tasteless.

The ‘manager of the day’ was rude and had no customer service skills at all!worst meal I’ve had in a while.

I visited the pumphouse yesterday for a meal , the food was awful the staff were miserable , the bathroom was disgusting urine all over the toilet seats and blood up the walls , very disappointing would not recommend

I cant tell you what the food is like. They are not serving food tonight as theu have a pre arranged party upstairs so bar meals are off. What about bringing in more staff!!!

Came for New Year's Day as we wanted to take the little one to winter wonderland after. We had to move tables as it was ridiculously hot by the radiator. Ordered food. Waited around 45 minutes for it to come.... it was busy, so it wasn't a massive issue. I ordered steak... I wanted medium/rare... it was very well done... the chips that came with it looked like the sort of chips you'd get at the end of the bag, small, burnt and not edible. My daughter had chicken and chips... chicken was burnt and very dry. My mother in law had glazed pork chops. They were also dry... no glaze and my partner ordered a burger which looked okay. The menus had half of swanseas DNA over them. I had to wipe them over myself with antibacterial gel. It wasn't pleasant.

But as soon as ordering just two drinks and two seemingly simple deserts, we started the timer as it grew to be a lengthy wait just for two deserts. Waiting for our deserts looking over at the kitchen we could see that the manger on duty and assisting in the kitchen but nobody else for any other preparation. At this stage we had been waiting 45 mins for just two deserts and I proceeded to the counter to enquirer about the time and location of our deserts. The bartender gladly aided in this issue and with no hesitation he clambered into the kitchen asking the manager were our deserts were. As nearly all starters and mains were delivered around our table to customers that had ordered after we had. She started to him to advise us that she will gladly make the deserts and bring the over. As a few mins passed I noticed that the manager was back in the kitchen helping prepare mains and starters for obviously other customers . I then went back the to bar and announced to the bartender that it was in-acceptable and that I wanted a refund as I wasn’t prepared to wait any longer and that the managers ignorance and lack of customer satisfaction she couldn’t even show her face to apologise and just said to the bartender to return our money but stayed in the kitchen herself.

Not impressed with the service this evening. Forgot to give us our daughters food and when asked about it the waitress had an attitude. Waited for ages for food to come out. Food was very poor and overpriced. Bill was incorrect at the end and when questioned they didn't believe us and had to get manager involved. Waitress then decided to bad mouth my husband to my mum in law and had the audacity to say that she would have told him to man up. Absolutely Disgraceful.

Not impressed with the food at all. £15.00 for surf and turf, I asked for a medium steak, it came burnt and was tough as an old boot, my friend had burger which was as hard as wood and my boyfriend and other friend had fish which was soggy and tasteless.

The ‘manager of the day’ was rude and had no customer service skills at all!worst meal I’ve had in a while.

I visited the pumphouse yesterday for a meal , the food was awful the staff were miserable , the bathroom was disgusting urine all over the toilet seats and blood up the walls , very disappointing would not recommend

I cant tell you what the food is like. They are not serving food tonight as theu have a pre arranged party upstairs so bar meals are off. What about bringing in more staff!!!

Came for New Year's Day as we wanted to take the little one to winter wonderland after. We had to move tables as it was ridiculously hot by the radiator. Ordered food. Waited around 45 minutes for it to come.... it was busy, so it wasn't a massive issue. I ordered steak... I wanted medium/rare... it was very well done... the chips that came with it looked like the sort of chips you'd get at the end of the bag, small, burnt and not edible. My daughter had chicken and chips... chicken was burnt and very dry. My mother in law had glazed pork chops. They were also dry... no glaze and my partner ordered a burger which looked okay. The menus had half of swanseas DNA over them. I had to wipe them over myself with antibacterial gel. It wasn't pleasant.
