What a lovely place. Been here a few times for Sunday lunch and can never fault it. However, we went to the Christmas market yesterday and I have to say I was really disappointed. For somewhere that has such a high class dining experience the Christmas market was like a jumble sale. Will always continue to go there as normally you can’t fault it 🎅🏻

Went for lunch here today. Food was lovely, friendly staff,nice atmosphere and facilities were spot on. Kids really enjoyed. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Went down to try their special vegan menu and it was fantastic. They even brought us vegan ‘butter’ and bread to start. Happy staff. Lovely setting too.

We love the purple badger. It’s a real gem. Great quality food, great service and a really relaxing environment and great location. We have been many tines. All the meals I’ve had have been great. From simple chicken and chips and burgers to Sunday roast etc. But recently my wife and I had the seafood supper, and it was amazing. I would highly recommend if you have a special occasion or just love seafood.

We booked the function room for my daughters baptism meal on the 17th December, staff were excellent, food was beautiful and the set up was fantastic. Nothing was too great a task for the staff and all of our guests had a wonderful meal. We look forward to returning and would definitely recommend booking the function room for future events. Thank you x

Was there for Mother’s Day with a party of 12, from the time we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, must say we had great time, food was excellent, service was great, the girls who served us were very friendly we’ll definitely be back

Tea with Santa 16/12� non stop entertainment for the children they only sat down for 10mins to eat their food! Which was a bag with finger sandwiches, crisps sweets and squash.Adults ordered food, which all of us enjoyed. Lots of bar staff Santa was fab with the children, a little disappointed with the grotto area. ( only the adults noticed) £10 a head excellent value. The venue is spotlessly clean, the ladies toilets in particular lovely soap dispenser! This was my first visit to the Purple Badger and it won’t be my last .Well done especially at this time of year.

Spent 5 hours here Saturday. Four kiddies under 7 and 4 adults... kids loved playing in park while we watched on with drinks! Lovely menu, great service. Had the pepper burger was giaganic but really tasty. Kids meal are very generous . Decor really really beautiful, you'd never expect this standard of decor in a caravan park it's just stunning x

My acoustic duo played at the Purple Badger for the New Year's Eve celebrstions. I just wanted to thank them for such a wonderful night! Their staff are the politest, most professional, most accommodating people in the world, they made my job so easy! It is one of the best venues I've ever had the pleasure to play at, highly recommended!!

Came down to The Purple Badger this evening for my husbands birthday meal.. The food was very nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the kids really enjoyed playing in the park � There was only one negative and that was that they had run out of chocolate fudge cake (the men's fav!) ���

The deco was really nice inside and my boys are already asking to return to have a game of pool..! �

Will 100% come back for a visit soon!!

Called here yesterday for a family meal on our way home from a day in Gower. What a treat, the waitresses were very friendly, perfect service and the food was beautiful. And there was a lovely play area for the children to play. Would definitely return on my next visit to swansea. Thank you . �

First Summer on the park. Purple Badger is great but can’t understand why there is a lack of regular weekend live entertainment during the Summer months as the venue is excellent. Food is great but is it becoming a restaurant only? Have been to live music nights and there is a very good atmosphere but there is little on offer through June/ July. I also think that Bingo would be a popular activity for many on the site as are the children’s disco evenings.

Came here for Sunday lunch yesterday, if I am honest I have had nicer Sunday lunches, however, I thought the food was very nice and was good value for money!



Food arrived quickly even though it was clearly very busy, staff were polite and helpful. It was really nice to sit outside and have a nice meal whilst the kids enjoyed the play area. We will definitely be coming back again.

I'm a little disappointed with the purple badger this evening, ( New Year's Eve) we have a caravan on the site, we came down to the purple badger at 6 to be told the doors wouldn't be opening until 7.30, we came back at 7.20 to find the abbey room packed out! We found seats in the bar, which was fine, as there were bands on in both rooms, we were really enjoying the night untill the band in the bar was told to stop!! You couldn't hear the band in the other room when both bands were playing! I don't understand why there couldn't be entertainment in both rooms all night? Surely enough money was taken to provide it? The atmosphere completely dropped in the bar area when the music stopped!!

Disappointed with our food. I ordered the minted lamb burger and this was dripping with fat. It poured out. I poured the fat into the bowl on the table and the waiter/bar staff seen this and offered me another burger but I had already been put off. The roll was soaking wet. My chips were already pre salted and I don't like additional salt on my food. Plus my baby girl was meant to have a few chips but too salty. They offer all allergy and gluten free food but maybe they should offer salt free chips where, if you require you can add salt yourself. We spent over 50 pounds for lunch for 2 adults, 1 child and a baby who shared. A lot when when you consider the quality. However my husband enjoyed his fish and salty chips.

We love the purple badger. It’s a real gem. Great quality food, great service and a really relaxing environment and great location. We have been many tines. All the meals I’ve had have been great. From simple chicken and chips and burgers to Sunday roast etc. But recently my wife and I had the seafood supper, and it was amazing. I would highly recommend if you have a special occasion or just love seafood.

We booked the function room for my daughters baptism meal on the 17th December, staff were excellent, food was beautiful and the set up was fantastic. Nothing was too great a task for the staff and all of our guests had a wonderful meal. We look forward to returning and would definitely recommend booking the function room for future events. Thank you x

Was there for Mother’s Day with a party of 12, from the time we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, must say we had great time, food was excellent, service was great, the girls who served us were very friendly we’ll definitely be back

Tea with Santa 16/12� non stop entertainment for the children they only sat down for 10mins to eat their food! Which was a bag with finger sandwiches, crisps sweets and squash.Adults ordered food, which all of us enjoyed. Lots of bar staff Santa was fab with the children, a little disappointed with the grotto area. ( only the adults noticed) £10 a head excellent value. The venue is spotlessly clean, the ladies toilets in particular lovely soap dispenser! This was my first visit to the Purple Badger and it won’t be my last .Well done especially at this time of year.

Spent 5 hours here Saturday. Four kiddies under 7 and 4 adults... kids loved playing in park while we watched on with drinks! Lovely menu, great service. Had the pepper burger was giaganic but really tasty. Kids meal are very generous . Decor really really beautiful, you'd never expect this standard of decor in a caravan park it's just stunning x

My acoustic duo played at the Purple Badger for the New Year's Eve celebrstions. I just wanted to thank them for such a wonderful night! Their staff are the politest, most professional, most accommodating people in the world, they made my job so easy! It is one of the best venues I've ever had the pleasure to play at, highly recommended!!

I had afternoon tea at The Purple Badger today to celebrate my friend's birthday and I'd highly recommend it. The staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Thanks very much.

Came down to The Purple Badger this evening for my husbands birthday meal.. The food was very nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the kids really enjoyed playing in the park � There was only one negative and that was that they had run out of chocolate fudge cake (the men's fav!) ���

The deco was really nice inside and my boys are already asking to return to have a game of pool..! �

Will 100% come back for a visit soon!!

Called here yesterday for a family meal on our way home from a day in Gower. What a treat, the waitresses were very friendly, perfect service and the food was beautiful. And there was a lovely play area for the children to play. Would definitely return on my next visit to swansea. Thank you . �

First Summer on the park. Purple Badger is great but can’t understand why there is a lack of regular weekend live entertainment during the Summer months as the venue is excellent. Food is great but is it becoming a restaurant only? Have been to live music nights and there is a very good atmosphere but there is little on offer through June/ July. I also think that Bingo would be a popular activity for many on the site as are the children’s disco evenings.

Came here for Sunday lunch yesterday, if I am honest I have had nicer Sunday lunches, however, I thought the food was very nice and was good value for money!



Food arrived quickly even though it was clearly very busy, staff were polite and helpful. It was really nice to sit outside and have a nice meal whilst the kids enjoyed the play area. We will definitely be coming back again.

I'm a little disappointed with the purple badger this evening, ( New Year's Eve) we have a caravan on the site, we came down to the purple badger at 6 to be told the doors wouldn't be opening until 7.30, we came back at 7.20 to find the abbey room packed out! We found seats in the bar, which was fine, as there were bands on in both rooms, we were really enjoying the night untill the band in the bar was told to stop!! You couldn't hear the band in the other room when both bands were playing! I don't understand why there couldn't be entertainment in both rooms all night? Surely enough money was taken to provide it? The atmosphere completely dropped in the bar area when the music stopped!!

Disappointed with our food. I ordered the minted lamb burger and this was dripping with fat. It poured out. I poured the fat into the bowl on the table and the waiter/bar staff seen this and offered me another burger but I had already been put off. The roll was soaking wet. My chips were already pre salted and I don't like additional salt on my food. Plus my baby girl was meant to have a few chips but too salty. They offer all allergy and gluten free food but maybe they should offer salt free chips where, if you require you can add salt yourself. We spent over 50 pounds for lunch for 2 adults, 1 child and a baby who shared. A lot when when you consider the quality. However my husband enjoyed his fish and salty chips.

What a lovely place. Been here a few times for Sunday lunch and can never fault it. However, we went to the Christmas market yesterday and I have to say I was really disappointed. For somewhere that has such a high class dining experience the Christmas market was like a jumble sale. Will always continue to go there as normally you can’t fault it 🎅🏻

Went for lunch here today. Food was lovely, friendly staff,nice atmosphere and facilities were spot on. Kids really enjoyed. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Went down to try their special vegan menu and it was fantastic. They even brought us vegan ‘butter’ and bread to start. Happy staff. Lovely setting too.
